Okay so we had some breaking news out of the NBA this morning Terry roier has been traded to the Miami Heat let’s talk about it so yeah it’s a simple trade between the Hornets and heat roier for Lowry in a first so look Terry roier isn’t exactly Donovan Mitchell or Damen
Lillard but also like based on how he’s been playing this year he’s not that far off and what he brings to the heat is just a guy who can get Buckets and the reality is the heat need it man like they’re not a good offense this year and
Don’t forget too this is a guy who’s played in 50 career playoff games that’s no joke roier also just feels like a heat guy man like he’s got that gritty swagger like Yeah The Heat are 24 and 19 6 in the East whatever but come May and
June I’d still be scared of this team and then for the Hornets I mean yeah it’s a first round pick for a guy who wasn’t part of their future that’s a win my biggest question now is just who’s next

I like this trade, as you mentioned; he is very underrated with his handles. I have been watching him since he was on the Celtics. He really had that dawg in him. The heat can be very scary. As a Celtics fan, I know how that feels. But also, he came from a Hornets team that was not very good, so he got most of the shots this season. Even with Lamelo being out for a lot of games, I expect his shots and points to go down with the players and talent on heat. But I still agree with you that they will be a very scary team in the playoffs.
As a hornets fan I feel like we should just dump Lowrys salary.

It was more of a salary trade to me. Trading for him lowered there total salary under the 2nd tax bracket, so the heat avoid paying millions in luxury tax.
Scoring is just one of two of the heat's massive problems. The second one being length. Their tallest center being 6'9 is fucking crazy, and that was heavily exposed in the denver series last year, it wasn't close because of that. Bam couldnt defend jokic, and the rest of the team is 6'7 or below so they couldn't guard gordon or mpj either.
I still dont know why Lakers didnt go for this guy.

rozier has been good this year but saying hes not far off from dmitch or dame is actual insanity
Rozier is not as good as you think, he puts up too many shots to have that little points, only recently has he been playing top of his game
not superstar level but better value than any guy you could have brought in to play the role and he fits the culture
This trade moves them up a spot or two in my eyes. Terry's defense should mask Herro's flaws on that end. & At the same time he should become more efficient with not having to carry the workload like he was in Charlotte. So Rozier, Herro, Butler, Bam & Juan Wick could be very scary come playoff time.
