  1. I watched the first quarter and knew it was gonna be a track meet. We had no chance

  2. RelevantTreacle3004

Ok who could we realistically get that would help us this year in a trade

  3. XxStormySoraxX

That sucked, but at least this LSU vs South Carolina game is good!

Edit: Hailey Van Lith let me down ;(

  4. ArroganceIsPotent

The results of giving maxey 38 minutes per game for months

  5. ranchsauce13

God r/nba is a cesspool, apparently 43 FTA for us is egregious even though we missed 12 of them and the Pacers couldn’t stop fouling our 3rd stringers and they had to put the starters back in. Make it make sense

  6. MatCauthonsHat

Safe to say, after this game, that we have to acquire another ball handler. Never thought I’d miss Tobias and D’Anthony *this* much.

  7. reggaetony88

Unrelated but I love seeing games constantly being decided midway through the third quarter. The NBA product is broken.

  8. SquashForDinner

The offense is straight up dead with both Melton and Tobias out. It’s literally just watching Maxey and Embiid pass the ball between the two or attempts to score themselves. The only person that can do anything is Batum but he’s old af so he can’t play as long.

Also Kelly looks so bored when he doesn’t get the ball. Maxey threw him a pass and he wasn’t even paying attention and caused a turnover. Dude is just walking around day dreaming. Like I get it, you’re on the floor for like 5 whole minutes and you’re basically doing cardio, but when the team finally rotates the ball and gets it to you you have to be ready like Batum.

  9. PessimistSixersFan

I think Ricky deserves a shot alongside Embiid/Maxey

He looked good in Q4 and could probably benefit even more with their gravity

Terq to a lesser extent but his ability to run the PnR could be useful maybe

  10. denny_crane68

Do you guys think “40 before 20” is still on the table?

  11. thesixersdontexist

game felt off from the jump. just hope joel is alright

  12. We can’t go into the playoffs with Oubre as a rotation player

  13. Morey is looking like a fool not trading for OG or Siakam. If we get eliminated by the knicks or pacers in the first round he can’t stay here he can’t

  14. Poopywaterengineer

Obviously a dud of a game, but the fact that Jo can look like he has zero energy and still drop 30 is insane

  15. They really struggle vs. high-energy teams. The Hornets and Spurs both hung in there just by out working the Sixers. Now, the Pacers run them out of the gym.

  16. If there is a time to be losing games, the last 2 weeks before t3h trade deadline is probably the best time. Morey cant ve so delusional as to think the roster just needs some tiny addition

  17. MV7EaglesFan

This game proves how important Tobias Harris is for us. Now he has a coach.

  18. This game should but probably won’t illustrate how much this sub undervalues Tobias.

Yes it was only one game, but he really hasn’t/doesnt miss that many games.

  19. JiveTurkey92

any concern facing pacers in the playoffs? they have depth, they shoot, they play fast.

  20. GirlWithGame

First off glad we should all see Harris value. With a legit coach. But I know some won’t.

Secondly did I miss the announcement that Embiid hurt his knee again or are people assuming because he had no energy. Bev was sick, Harris is, it’s possible he wasn’t feeling well tonight. Batum was dealing with illness too.

I’d totally quit my job to follow the team with lysol could be a valuable job.

  21. Will_Explode8

this team just isn’t good enough… I’m done deluding myself with the Sixers its just gonna be the same shit this year when Morey makes a marginal upgrade at guard/forward at the deadline and we lose in the second round when we face real the competition in the East

  22. Jerami Grant is second (to Lauri markannen) among forwards in made catch and shoot threes per game (43.3% on 5.3 C+S 3PA/game). Tobi is shooting 35.7% on 2.8 catch and shoot threes per game. The contract isn’t great, but jerami grant is a considerably better fit than tobi as a floor spacing wing around maxey and Embiid. Does he make sense as a deadline deal?

  23. T4hunderb0lt

I don’t care that we didn’t have Tobias, they were missing fucking Haliburton. We need to make a trade to be legitimate contenders.

  24. thesixersdontexist

can someone tell pat bev to stop going to the team facility when he’s sick? this is seemingly the second time he started a spread of illness amongst the team lol

  25. girlfriend_pregnant

I would bet that Embiid won’t play in Denver, and I will defend him online, and lost years off my life.

  26. Did Embiid tweak his knee again tonight? I didn’t catch the game

  27. downsouthcountry

    It’s injuries. Need Tobi’s 16-18 a game or so

  28. Tobias I owe you an apology I wasn’t familiar with your game

  29. IllumiXXZoldyck

If it is the unilateral assumption that Maxey is much better playing off-ball, then Murray, who is struggling to play off ball along side Trae Young, seems to be the choice. A match made in Heaven for an original PG player. Atlanta’s asking price is reportedly “2 Firsts and a Serviceable Starter” (Likely Beverley, Melton, or Martin). Maybe an unpopular decision, but I think this makes us better, especially on days like this where you need the energy and someone to reliably get the ball in the hoop.
