Man we are in THE TRENCHES this szn please just let him be an all star so we got some to cheer about 😭

This is why I don’t like fan voting being published before media and players vote. They absolutely knew if Trae was top 4 he would make it so then absolutely nobody chose him.

Anyone know who was that 1 legend who voted Trae?

Traes best shot at all star was to be a starter since the fan vote weighed so heavily. He got the 11th most votes in the entire nba from fans and now likely won’t make the top 24 (12 apiece in east and west) bc coaches and media are jackoffs.

All that time we wasted voting day after day after day. Meanwhile, these teams were predetermined.
Not sure is there’s a difference regionally, but in the All-Star voting commercials I got, the commercials would explain to the viewer how to fill out a ballot and always selected Haliburton and Brunson in the East as the example. The media vote is overwhelmingly Haliburton and Brunson. Team USA selected Haliburton and Brunson. When I would log in to vote, the players weren’t in order of top to bottom best to worst or even alphabetically. It started from Haliburton as the first player on my screen for some reason, and then I would have to scroll up to find Trae. In the main NBA reddit, everyone’s upset Lillard got in over Brunson even though Brunson barely had any fan votes. There’s barely any mention of Trae even though he was 2nd in fan votes. It’s like the world has been brainwashed to believe Haliburton and Brunson are the best guards in the East. I don’t think the NBA foresaw Lillard’s popularity ruining their plans of a Haliburton & Brunson Eastern Conference starting backcourt, but if I had to guess, I’d imagine Brunson gets voted in as a reserve along with a combination of guards that don’t deserve a spot over Trae (like Derrick White and/or Jrue Holiday).

That one brave soldier in the media who voted for Trae is in the Disney/ESPN headquarters right now getting reprimanded by Mickey Mouse and Adam Silver for going off script.
