I just realized with the fan vote it’s unlikely that a guard is ever a team captain again (if the NBA keeps that format). Frontcourt players get way more votes than guards because fans can vote for 3.

Everyone in here forgetting that this is just the fan vote and only makes up a portion of the overall vote. Players and coaches both get a say.

So if the 12 for each team were decided purely on votes:
KP would be the backup center if they were making real teams. White and Holiday would be the 7th and 8th guards, so they likely don’t make it, even with an injury or two on the team.
