Great response uh from yesterday really proud of the guys uh and and when I say I mean you know the entire team uh the response was really good uh you know the questions from beforehand just talking about why is it that way or whatever uh

You know why the the record and you know look every game like I said takes on its own identity uh but that’s the character and like I said the competitiveness of the guys and it was a tremendous response um I think you started off the game almost like 50% from three and that

Was after making like 13 of them so just for you guys what you or what did you see tonight from you guys with the ball movement and the shooting yeah that that’s the answer ball movement no uh but that really is it I mean we the ball

Moved uh you know our spacing was really good uh transition you know it’s it’s not the fast break points so just the the flow of our offense and uh the overall execution was solid um so the the ball move the spacing allows the ball movement the pace with the throw

Aead you know either the pace of dring bringing it up on the dribble or passing it ahead um all of that goes hand inand and it it like from and as from the beginning of the game you saw it uh you mentioned who we should vote for for MVP

And defensive player of the year during the pregame do you have any thoughts on six-man of the year uh yeah I think we’d be familiar with who that is no I there there’s uh I mean I think you know I love the question and the one thing that I would say is uh

Those guys go out there and you know they play for one another and that’s why you are also able to talk about why they are who they are and the effort that goes in on the defensive end you know when everybody talks about Brooke like

We we did better uh you know or have we’re we’re showing progress we’re not there uh and Giannis being able to do all the things that he does and so again I know you’re kind of joking but there’s there’s reasons uh coach going back to the shooting first bask of the game Dame

Hits a three from about like the hash mark I’m curious for you as a coach who’s been in the league for a long time what has that kind of been like to watch guys push that distance back on the shooting yeah we drew that up no um it’s been amazing and that is

Something uh it’s been an evolution you know obviously the three-point shot and how it’s been impacted uh you know and I would say the last few years but it’s it’s been longer than that now and and we all know it but uh that distance has just been challenged more and more and

Strong holy smokes that’s like that’s ridiculous and there you know I’m not going to sit here and go through a list of people but the bottom line is that H there’s more and more guys the accuracy the strength uh the repetition of doing things um with the shot that there the

Distance is just getting further and further and you know it’s always going to come down now how many can you make I mean one is not it’s just you know it’s one shot but you know Dame has that range I mean one too long ago that he

This new new situation now yeah I think our our players are High character uh obviously very talented but High character high quality individuals that as we’ve said all along uh step in be ready do your job and do it to the best of your ability and even last night in a

Rotation fell out um we deviated a little bit from what we had been doing and uh so he came back a little bit he he left the game earlier then came back and uh kind of ran a longer stretch and so he responded extremely well uh you

Know and it’s what we talked about before the game uh you know even though he’s going to be def you know he should be defensive player of the year um now even you know even though he does things on that end the versatility of his abilities on the

Offensive end like couple of nights ago Giannis gets double teamed in the post Brooks at The Rim you know tonight Brooks out at the three-point line you know that he his versatility with his spacing and the things that he helps create on offense are immeasurable coach congratulations two

And one as interim head coach now that you have been in that head coach position from that point of view what is going to lend itself to you helping uh get Doc Rivers you know into that position and hit the ground running sure no we’re all going to you know it’s kind

Of like I said from the beginning we’re we’re going to do our job and we’re going to learn our roles and we’re going to do them to the best of our abilities and that’s everyone and so I mean it’s nice to I appreciate you know that two

You know each game like I said takes on a mind of its own and you know we’re going after I you know we’ll enjoy this one and then move on to that one very quickly and be prepared
