[Lane] This game was the flashing neon sign to say: “start Jared Vanderbuilt!” Taurean Prince was not good in this game… It’s never been more clear… if next game Taurean Prince is still starting, it’s never gonna stop.

My fear is…we trade dlo for Murray and our backcourt now is Reaves/DJM and PRINCE

Like at this point this coach would do something like that, he’s not giving up on TP.

Taurean Prince is just too slow to guard quick ballhandlers and too slow to bang down low with stronger forwards..

The guy is letting people blow by him or shoot open jumpers and he is getting bailed out time and time again by AD in the paint.

Just start Vando over him please.. The lineup that got the Lakers to the WCF last year.

Either they promised him a starting job when pitching him [which you shouldn’t not budge on especially if you’re losing games with him going heavy mins] or Prince must have some serious blackmail material on Ham😅

And Rui still gets peasant mins.
Vando had THE Highest plus/minus last game and his plus/minus is best when Rui [who was perfect from the field AGAIN] is 1 of the players on the court with him. Stats don’t lie.

I mean vando is playing back into heskth n ham has used him well n maybe vsndo has developed a bit offensively too. Let’s hope n trust him cos vsndo wasn’t vsndo till recently

If Ham starts prince again that’s when I know this fucker doesn’t know ball and is just stubborn. At least when he started dennis schroder he actually produced

Thing is Cam and TP are good role players. But their role isn’t to start it’s for instant energy or offense. TP hasn’t started this many games before lmao

This has been obvious since the a while back but as he did last year, he will make every unnecessary adjustment except for the one that’s needed, I mean for how long did he choose Schröder over Austin last year. Ham needs help on the coaching side, good assistants at least if Ham is going to continue to be the head coach.

  9. Lakers won, so Ham thinks his decision making was a big factor in the win and will not make any changes.

Nah Ham just likes to zig while everyone else zags 😤

    🤡

You mean to tell me that a career bench player shouldn’t be playing the most minutes of his career at age 29?

Earlier in the year I don’t blame ham for starting TP. We don’t have a lot of wings. Reddish isn’t it. But since Vando has started to look like his old self the last week or so he prob should be starting soon. I mean he significantly played more than TP last game so maybe this is a sign. it’s not gonna fix everything but it’s a start.

I honestly think Ham realizes this by now, but the only thing that’s stopping him from starting Vando is his ego. Benching prince and starting Vando would show to everybody that the lakers have been running the wrong lineup all season, and I don’t think Ham wants to do that…
