This is a rare case where I feel no news, is terrible news.

Healing factor and adamantium injections take time. Have patience and wait for news of an anticipated return to gameshape before the All-Star break. (please please please 🙏🙏🙏)

  3. HART2HARTENSTEIN

I always wait a full 24 hours before releasing good news so I’m sure the MRI went fantastic

  4. Good. I don’t want an update today.

Imma stay away from the sub in the meantime since it’s nothing but doomposting at the moment

  5. cesarjulius

well this may be among the last times i get medical advice or updates from robert randolph and/or the family band.

  6. This is a bad sign right? If they did the mri last night I would think they have the results

The easiest take is aways saying ‘all hope is lost’ then either ‘I told you so’ or ‘I’m so happy I was wrong.’ No one ever calls you out on that.

Do we know for sure that he has had an MRI today?

If the Knicks are not releasing news on Randle, it’s because he’s done for an extended period of time and they’re still looking to make a move. They won’t admit it’s a 6-8 week thing or a 6-8 month thing. That way they don’t lose leverage on any deal regardless of how minor/major it is.

Bottom line is no news is NOT good news.

An MRI takes 30 minutes to result.

This sucks is all I will say. Our boys can’t catch a break. We were headed for the 3 seed at least. Now, we might be looking at a play-in game. No bueno.

  10. Having Randle out for the season would be big hit to our offense, no doubt. However, one hallmark of this Knicks team is bouncing back and their “next man up” mindset to step up and share the workload. Mitchell Robinson out for the season? Here comes the emergence of iHart, here comes the emergence of Deuce, here comes Grimes finally starting to find his groove, etc. The arrival of OG has been a godsend. And, Precious is showing to be an effective rebounder and defender as a nice bonus. If Randle is out for the season, I bet anything we’ll still make the playoffs. From there, who knows what will happen. We also have time to add another effective scorer before the trade deadline. The faith I have in this particular Knicks team is off the charts. Believe.

Feel so bad for Jules. He worked so hard to get thru the ankle injury and now this. It’s just bad luck.

Not a good sign but it’s all speculation at this point.

My guess is that he’s getting multiple opinions from a few different doctors and going from there about whether it’s rehab or surgery.. who knows

Knicks should consider a trade for Lebron James if randle is out for a while.

  14. hyborians

I expect him to need surgery at this point. Gonna have to soldier on

  15. Dislocation only, not so bad. Torn labrum? 2-3 months easy, more like 5-6 for full functionality. Having that surgery next week unfortunately. My pain ranges from I’m able to shoot a basketball 10 times and then I can really feel it or I can’t hand my kid a snack in the backseat of the car because I can’t raise my arm high enough because of the pain.

Next man up. Less turnovers to look forward to.
