[Stein] League sources say that there has been little-to-no trade dialogue in recent days between the Hawks and the Lakers when it comes to Dejounte Murray. One source briefed on the talks termed the idea of Murray landing with the Lakers before the deadline, as of this Sunday, as “unrealistic.”

If we can get him without giving up anyone better than Morris, that could be great. Melton coming off the bench would be huge.

Low key DLo is just better for him since he can shoot

If they want a young player with upside give them paul reed and 2 firsts

I’m very weary of Murray. The kid can play, but hes a cancer. The man openly trashes his coaches and team on twitter and seems like an asshole both on and off the court.

Im ok with having dawgs, but if you’re just a selfish and immature person in general, i dont want you on my team. I can tolerate a Mook because he knows his role and is a great teammate.

Take a look at the Hawks sub, they can’t stand him over there and i don’t know if the talent outweighs the baggage.

3 way trade Hawks, Knicks, Sixers

    Sixers get Murray

    Knicks get Marcus Morris

    Hawks get Springer + Fournier + 2 2nds from the Knicks + 1 1st from the Sixers

Knicks have a real need for a back up PF to play minutes with Randle currently injured. Morris has played there before and he’s well regarded. Sixers may need to throw in another 2nd or a pick swap to get Murray.

There might be a chance we get him for 1 first and filler

I feel like we could get him for Melton, Springer, an expiring, and the OKC 2026 pick. WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?!

  8. I’m sure the hawks will be perfectly happy keeping him. Not like his salary is anything bad. And they gave up a bunch to get him.

This is because they are talking to the Sixers (I hope)
