Can cover up so many of those mistakes and on the flip side Jonathan Isaac not the best offensive player okay but what is Mo Vagner a terrific offensive big man terrific offensive big man whether it’s rolling whether it’s stepping out for three footwork in the paint offensive rebounds and putbacks and

Stuff like that they really compliment each other 100% Suns didn’t make a field goal for for like 8 minutes I was going to look at that I’m glad you mentioned that I was going to look at that later but we can do it now there was a long stretch I

Knew it was at least 6 minutes where the Suns did not make a field goal in that fourth quarter it’s crazy let’s see if we can find it here I’m going to pull this up so everyone can look at this okay so Suns get a field goal at

1010 then they get uh free throws bring this a little bigger free throws blah blah blah BL free throws and misses misses misses misses wow is that right don’t is that that can’t be right I had to have missed that that I had to have missed a field goal

Crazy that’s crazy against any NBA team you know how easy it is to get a field goal right now in the NBA we just got done with those two you know 60 and 70 point games from from Booker and Luca over the weekend and everyone’s talking

About how easy it is to get a bucket and tonight we help the Suns without a bucket for 8:14 that’s insane that’s crazy I’m going to watch that fourth quarter as soon as we’re done here I’m going to go back and watch it again okay what I was going to say was kudos

To the magic tonight even through the first three quarters they gave 100% effort all night long tonight it was one of those things where if the magic lost this game I actually wasn’t going to be that frustrated not compared to some of the losses from the last couple weeks

Some of the losses from the past couple weeks were just not good enough I thought tonight this team played really hard sure they weren’t making shots but that’s that’s Magic basketball right now okay like we’re used to that even in the nine game win streak there were plenty

Of nights where we shot the ball poorly but we won games because of our effort because of our defense and tonight was a a flashback to that stretch in November where this team just was relentless for 48 minutes non-stop did not take a possession off did not take a second of

A possession off and so I was really pumped like going to the fourth qu I was like we kept this game close that’s cool if we win amazing if we lose I’m still H like I’m still okay with the performance tonight the effort was there the energy

Was there loved that but to take it to another level in that fourth quarter and to go on what end up being I think someone said a 21-2 run you hold them without a field goal for 814 and end up winning this one going

Away what more can you ask for a just a terrific performance from this team tonight if it wasn’t pretty like don’t get me wrong it’s not like we sat there and shot the ball really well and had a bunch of guys score a bunch of buckets but this team just scratched and clawed

Their way and honestly out physical the Phoenix Suns down the stretch of this game they could not handle the pressure that we put on them and that’s that’s got to be a really good feeling for this team maybe it’s a good reminder for this team hey if we go out there and play

Like that we can beat anybody we can beat anybody and I think it’s been a while since the team maybe felt that because the last couple weeks have been so difficult and so to go out there and prove that not only to the NBA and to us

Fans but to themselves hey this is what we’re capable of so let’s see uh let’s see maybe what we can do tomorrow in Dallas but obviously before we talk about that we’re going to look at some of these numbers here uh fron you know not a super night

For fron um wonder you know if his ankle’s bothering him or whatever who knows um but then outside of scoring he was he was good you know ended up having eight boards seven assists only two turnovers turnovers you know the issue was you know shooting the ball he’s only

Quarters I want to say uh but ends up shooting 50% from the field and 40% from three 9 of 18 and two of five did go six9 for the free throw line but added four boards seven assists and only two turnovers pal and fron combined for four

Turnovers you know you’ll take that with especially because I mean they have the ball so much these days uh looking at some other guys here Wendell very quiet night for Wendell uh nine points four of eight from the field part of it was Mo Vagner was cooking in that second half

So um coach Mosley you know elected to keep Mo out on the floor much longer than he typically does in that fourth quarter especially jayon sugs tonight you know maybe didn’t shoot the ball the best but his energy and effort was just I mean the guy is unbelievable he’s just unbelievable 10

Points four boards five assists two Steals and a block uh for jayen I mean he could have had two or three more steals he he was just that close to to getting those he was just terrific so good Marquel also that that back court right there Jaylen and Marquel defensively they were just

Un like think combine for seven steals I know Marquel had five of them but those two were just everywhere they were everywhere tonight very very entertaining to watch on the defensive end 14 points for him seven of 10 from the field um two boards four assist and five

Steals for Marquel I believe that’s zero turnovers right yeah zero turnovers for Marquel very very happy with Marquel tonight Joe Engles only played 13 minutes tonight I would have liked to see a little bit more Joe because he was playing really well uh six points two

Four from the field all all those were uh three-point attempts also added two boards and two assists um I expect hopefully to see a a more of a an opportunity for Joe tomorrow second night of a back toback only played 13 minutes that means uh him and Cole and maybe AB tomorrow should

Get a little few more minutes than they did tonight we already talked about him a little bit but Mo Vagner was he it’s funny he talked about it in the in the walk-off interview that he was talking about how poorly he got the ball which I mean technically yeah but

When you go out there and have 12 boards and five of them were offensive and you get a steal and I believe that’s also a block is it yeah stealing a block and uh and and you just have that overall effort and intensity I I’ll take five of 13 if you

Give me all that other stuff absolutely we are talked about Cole he just doesn’t look himself only plays 10 minutes maybe tomorrow you know he gets a few more opportunities than he did tonight and hopefully he can make the most of them Jonathan Isaac I mean we already talked

About him a lot but he was I mean the guy the guy just impacts games more than anyone that I can think of in Orlando Magic uniform on the defensive end in those shorts BDS I cannot think of a player in Orlando Magic history that has such a a

Noticeable impact when he’s on the floor even just off the bench in these relatively short spurts although in the fourth quarter it was a long spurt which is great I just can’t think of a player that had the the impact he makes on games is gargantuan it’s gigantic it’s

Crazy like he completely changes not just whoever he’s guarding obviously makes life difficult for them but he takes the the level of the entire defense up a 100 level and it’s just I’ve said it once I’ll say it a million times all the nights that we’ve missed

Jonathan Isaac or all the nights he’s only played 12 minutes or all the back Tob backs he’s missed it will all be worth it if he can give us 20 to 25 minutes A Night in the playoffs because that guy was built for playoff basketball if you watch the playoffs the

Elite elite elite Defenders put their stamps on games in the playoffs and he was built for playoff basketball if we can have him healthy and he can play 20 minutes 25 minutes A Night in the playoffs where there are no back-to-backs by the way if we can get him

There anything’s possible anything is possible AB came in for a little stretch played terrific defense I mean add him to that back court of great Defenders tonight Jaylen Marquel Anthony all played terrific defense tonight and then Caleb Houston schuma Trevin and and Goa came in um in garbage time which crazy

To think that we had garbage time in this game like but it just it just it turned around so quickly there in the fourth quarter which was awesome looking at the numbers more of the um more of the uh team numbers here Phoenix wins that fourth quarter wasn’t

Great from the magic but then the rest of the way I mean you hold them to 19 in the second they get going again in the third with 29 but 13 in the fourth so you add the fourth in the second quarter together you you hold them to 32 points

In two quarters that is ludicrous just ludicrous uh points in the paint magic back up to 50 points in the paint which is great magic got out and ran a lot I mean I shouldn’t say a lot it’s not a lot but a good amount tonight 15 points

On the break is good for this team ended up with the biggest lead of the game at 17 which is crazy 43 bench points love to see that this is the game right here guys this is it I cannot believe this the magic I’m gonna start with Phoenix 22 turnovers

For Phoenix 22 turnovers for Phoenix crazy and sure some of that was bad decisions of course that’s part of basketball but the magic should be credited with most of those because they were Relentless and the Orlando Magic had seven turnovers tonight seven that’s it and three of those were in the first

Quarter and all three of those were terrible awful awful turnovers in the first quarter terrible passes so you only have four turnovers the rest of the way that’s that is crazy we I can tell you this right now we will not have another turnover margin like that this

Season we will not have 15 fewer turnovers than our opponent the rest of the season so enjoy that because that is a that is a crazy stat line and also that ends up being 21 point points off those 22 turnovers crazy crazy Steven says shutting down a

High power offense 13 points is so impressive with their big three playing I still cannot get over it I cannot I cannot wait to go back and watch this fourth quarter that’s what I’m going to do as soon as we’re done here that’s crazy Stephen also says we won and

Looked at the Box a couple times through the game pal was yeah there was a stretch uh early in the fourth quarter or late in the third I can’t remember where he was shooting like 42% from the field which you know I mean not awful but he ended up ended up being

Right at 50 I believe which is fine Michael says confidence to take down Luca tomorrow that’d be amazing I feel like this team feels they can do it so um looking at the other team stats here this is also crazy you beat the Phoenix Suns by 15 and they shot 56% from the

Field that’s crazy but part of it is they were shooting like 65% going to the fourth quarter or something insane like that so you shutting them down the fourth quarter brought that number down but still they shoot 56% from the field and lost but the difference is you took

19 more shots than the Phoenix Suns tonight because of those turnovers because of the 11 offensive rebounds that’s crazy you think about the 15 turnovers the 11 offensive rebounds that is 26 26 possessions there from effort and hustle they’ll beat anybody if you can if you can have those kinds of numbers

Magic don’t shoot the three ball super well end up come back around a little bit in the fourth quarter but 33% 19 of 26 I mean that’s another difference how often are the magic going to take or make more threes than the opponent this season not very often but you make seven

More threes than the Suns again because you had so many more possessions uh and then finally the the Phoenix Suns shot the free throws terrible tonight 57% for the Suns another big difference in this game but I got my numbers wrong sorry 12 to four on threes 19 to 12 on free

Throws that’s what I meant either way crazy I still cannot believe some of these numbers are just so backwards like that’s so that’s so crazy the Suns took 14 threes tonight the Phoenix Suns they made four threes tonight that is Kevin Durant and Devon Booker and Bradley Beal
