praying he just gets off the team by the deadline and we get a decent package for him

Still think our refusal to take D-Lo will be our saving grace here. They were hoping to dump his salary on us and we rightly said no. We know they’ll come back to the table in the off-season.

  3. So a team with already massive culture issues is about to keep a highly discontent, drama causing player in the locker room until the end of the season after all their leverage was made visible for the whole world to see.

And yet again, we’re about to hold onto a player on the trade block for too long while his value continues to drop.

This organization is a dumpster fire from the top down.

  4. This was known when it came out that the Lakers said Reaves was a non starter in conversations. There was never a possibility of them getting DJ without giving up Reaves.

We got people upset about this itt somehow? You wanna bitch about the front office making bad trades, but you also get mad when they walk away from shit like this? What are we doing here?

Franchise has the stink of loser and desperation – no one will take us seriously and we will be in a constant state of getting fleeced.

We will trade him 2026 for a salary dump and 2nd

Lakers didn’t have a great package anyway. Show goes on. Some other teams are bidding I’m sure …..

    I’m not made at this

I rather them wait to take a good trade then rush and take a bad one.

This situation is not like JC. JC contract was bad from the start dropping his value. DJM is a fringe All-star player who just sign a good contract. Hawks have control of this situation like teams did with Harden, Ben etc. And just wait on it.

I also want the team to tank the season and get a high draft pick.
