The Mavs bench didn't play a lot of minutes in this game. The starters had to play extended minutes tonight. If you're coach Jason Kidd that definitely has to be a concern.

You know the drill when Luka has a great game media will call out NBA defense but when it's every other superstar they will say it's spectacular and bona fide superstars. Luka will score a 101 points with 100% efficiency and media will downplay it in some way.
This Mavericks team needs a trade in the worst way. They got a tough gritty win tonight but they can't rely on Luka so much and Kyrie Irving needs to play on Wednesday if the Mavericks are gonna go anywhere this year.

Man, the editing gets worse with every game. We did not see the run that got the Magic up in the 1st, and only part of the run that would eventually lead to the Mavericks win… Nor did we see half of the fouls, just the half the refs missed.

Good win for the Mavs. Not a top tier team, but definitely a playoff team and they fell behind early but didn't let it get away from them. They are ONE good defensive player away from being a real threat in the West. They need to be able to get stops. Luka is playing harder but obviously he'll never be the answer. With Kyrie constantly getting hurt they need to get someone like Caruso who could be a real defensive threat as well as a formidable backup. But it would be better to get a wing player who was an aggressive defender. Way too many open 3s for the Magic.
Luca is already one of the best in the world and he's only 24 years young..He's definitely the M.V.P.

We did not just lose to Dallas when we were winning the majority of the game???? What?! Look, Luka is him. He literally outplayed us but I wasn’t expecting Orlando choking like that. Paolo did all he could to put up 36 and we still lost the game even when we were winning 95% of the game. Remember, 95% isn’t 100%. You win some. You lose some. This loss for us was both tough and unacceptable. Tough loss due to Luka outplayed our defense which i can’t be upset about that. Unacceptable loss due to us choking when all we can do is show up offensively and not just Paolo doing it all by himself. I can’t believe Luka made our defense so tired when we could have easily be hungry. As an Orlando fan, it is never too late for us to make the playoffs. Believe me. We should beat San Antonio on January 31. Spurs are horrible this year. Let’s go to San Antonio and blow them out! #PureMagic 🪄

Part of me enjoys watching Luka just singlehandedly controlling a game, but I worry about his durability. Jason Kidd is working this kid to the bone, and I hope it's not gonna hurt him later. There's nothing they can do though, without Luka, this team will be one of worst since Kyrie is also out with an injury.
This mavs team have so much potential when they lock in from the 1-4th quarter. No slow starts being down 16 at the half, just solid defense and offense the whole time.
