SC last couple games uh John’s talked about how much in in the pregame specifically how much you guys are starting to emphasize kind of passing the ball it’s one of the things when you got here you said you really want to to kind of encourage that and be a part of
That what do you think has kind of contributed to getting the ball hopping around a little bit more and getting more opportunities just across the board um I think that meeting we had uh after we had lost to OKC um just seeing everybody’s point of view um seeing how
It’s tougher to play defense without touching the ball f five trips in a row and I think everybody kind of understands that so I think the more we get the ball popping the easier it is for us to to score and the easier it is
For for us to lock down teams after that meeting is that kind of also when you guys decided to start making more of a concerted effort to get the ball to Da and you know draw stuff up for him because it seems like he’s been a lot
More involved in stuff lately the last couple I think that was going to happen naturally honestly um like the flow of the game and knowing the type of player da is compared to every other being in NBA and D is a fast athletic um understanding um and he plays at a high
Level you know what I mean so I think the more we we understand that and as the season went on you know we we seen that so I think you know give him the ball and let him work and we do that to all of our guys you know we just got
Confidence in everybody on the team so how does he change what you guys are trying to do true his role obviously you’ve seen tonight his road to the rim is uh crucial you know what I mean so um just him doing that and and being able
To hit that mid whenever he wants um get definit the game da is a huge huge part of our offense and defense you know he shs down the paint um so me he’s one of the best when when it comes to him locking in you know I mean he’s locked
In he he’s one of the best for sure asked you about a month ago when you kind of got through the first couple months of the Season what you recognize more readily more easily you you said the specifically you’re recognizing when defenses are loading up for you now
What’s something else you’re starting to recognize as you kind of crap past that halfway point things start to slow down more I think even though teams are trying to Sag and go under I think it’s still a point of attack where I could you know where it’s kind of like a blind
Spot um Chanty and Scotty always tell me it’s it’s a blind spot when you go under um and screens right right there and and I’m on the other side of the screen so that’s when I just got to hit the Jets and and and make a play so I think
Seeing that and watching film on that and then you know making sure I’m repping it out on the court um it’s going to improve my game a lot what do you think Wednesday with Dame here is going to be like man it’s going to be turned for sure I think I
Think Dame going um it’s a homecoming game and I think Dame is going to be happy to come here to play on his his old court and um I think we’re going to you know just try our best to to try to shut that down and and I think we have
The a good enough defense to where you know we could just try to try to contain him and Giannis uh I don’t even know if jannis is playing or not but for most likely um but we’re just going to do what we’ve been doing and that’s like

Emotions going into that match up nah no particular emotions with Dame um I think for him and an I think it’s going to be a certain kind of game for that but for me no I think it’s just going to be a game to where um you know it’s like a
New like I said it’s a new era now so it’s it’s just going to be different you know what I mean for for the fans to see that for the first time and I think it’s going to be a good thing for the fans to
See um you know to see that old old player you know coming here and you know hopefully he does well but hopefully he does do too well you know to to to it beats us but I think it’s going to be a fun game for sure crowd going to be lit

Just kept leaving me open or going under whatever the case may be but um that’s just the flow of the game you know basketball guys see see it’ll work what do you build off of that as far as confidence and what have you sort of learned about the NBA in the first half
Of the season um I think I could just continue to to stay in the tack mode um you know throughout this fourth quarter even though it was the last minutes of the game I’m just try to go when I get in there first quarter just try to keep
The same same momentum um and then things that I’ve learned throughout the season through my first year in NBA is just controlling what I can control you know what I mean and um just just making sure I maintain it you know maintaining my body maintaining my strength and and
