Bobby Portis after win: ‘Getting the last one at home before going on the road is big’

Bobby congratulations on the win so you guys looked like you were having fun from start to finish what was it about tonight that allowed you to play at a high level and have fun while doing it um obviously um had some slippers yesterday um in a loss to Cleveland um

And I wanted to come back tonight and you know give a good outing uh get the ball hopping a little bit get everybody involved um I think we’re at our best when the ball goes side to side and everybody’s involved and moving and having having fun and playing with swag

Man so um it was good to see the ball go side to side guys you know share the basketball and everybody get involved now you guys are about to embark on your longest road trip of the Season out west and a new era of Bucks basketball begins

On Monday with coach Doc Rivers at the helm how important was this game as you get ready for that new era and get ready for this road trip um it’s always big to get the last one at home for you had on a long extended road trip um obviously

Away from fam um away from love on on the road with your teammates um trying to build it trying to find it and um obviously the road is always tough so getting the last one at home um feeling good going into the road is always big

And um I think we’ll be ready man it’s going to be um you know a long 11 days but you know I think it’s good for us to find ourselves on the road a little bit um come come together and you know still still build it do the Bobby Bobby chance
