When you’re at the line um just makeup you know everything uh uh went out the window you know no excuses and nobody’s going to say oh he missed because his ankles hurt you know so just had to step up and make and and make him how do you
Feel about the way you guys are playing right now the Midway play the season um I think today was was a good fight game you know I think we fought you know and that was a that was a step in the right direction cuz our fight has been down
And um as of late we haven’t been playing our our best and we know that you that’s the best thing we know we can be better we know as things to to correct so um you know it’s just on us to grow and and stay together and fix
The issues that we know we have what is the next step for you guys to kind of um consistency you know it’s just uh putting it all together you know win or loss we got to be the same team every night you know can’t be uh one team one
Night and a different team next you know you just got to be the same team every night and I think consistency is our big thing you know with us being young still trying to you know figure it out you know that’s what the great ones do you
Know the same same every night same energy same mindset so we just got to got to uh keep it more consistent coach Oka rewards guys that are giving him production both rookies getting a lot of minutes tonight what have you seen from a men and Cam man it’s just just how
Much how much they listen how much they compete you know how and how good they are you know and it’s and they know they’re good and they just they just listen they play with that confidence we give them that confidence and they just go out there and play you know what I
Mean they just I just remind them how hard this is you know how much I was struggling last year and just just tell them to stay with it like just have fun enjoy it you know they did that tonight when they’re running playing free you know that’s how they look they look good
So I’m just happy for them and just just just want the best for them what’ you think when a man had that block late in the game I couldn’t stand up but I was over there cheering I was I was excited so um that’s just the athletic plays he
Makes you know that’s how competitive he is and and uh Houston going to see a lot more of that how do you summon that type of confidence when you’re going into an OT period you know you don’t have Fred you guys have obviously been in three OT
Games before the season it hasn’t gone your way how do you summon confidence in that uh just next man up you know next man up mentality you know um all of us have have have been big roles on teams not if it’s here but you know high
School college or whatever you know it’s just the road steps up the competitive has to go up and um we didn’t fold you know our leader went down and we just we stayed together he stayed there cheated us on coached us up and just you know we
Knew we had to win you know just because he went down on the MEA the the game stopped so we just had to go out there and finish it did he say anything in particular before that ot to you guys um no you know he just said finish you know
Compete fight you know what we were doing you know our third quarter was pretty bad but in the fourth we fought and they played a pretty good third uh pretty good second half and um made it a good game and I’m just happy we won what’s been your mentality as far as
Rebounding this year it seems like even when you’re not scoring you’re still hitting the boards pretty hard um just trying to impact the game in some way you know um we got we got Fred Alie jayen you know we got good scores so um
You know I try not to try not to harp on that on that a lot just try to impact the game in some way shot go up crash um box out still got to get better at it but um just just trying to impact the game in any way I can thank you

I very Pleased how much Jabari improved and realized at his 2nd year that consistentcy is key. He is developed better on Defense and has times where he hits 4 3's in a row. Keep hitting them boards and get to your hot spots. This Rockets team is way better than previous years
I love the jumpers in the lane! He’s 7’ with a high release….if he gets aggressive and keeps shooting those, Houston will be lethal
Him and Alperen are the untouchables on the team.

When he led the bench unit in 2nd quarter we were destroying them and when Fred went down and him and Sengun had to carry the load both stepped up. Good to see Jabari improving games when it matters is huge and I notice that he is very good 3pt shooter from trailing when he have momentum forward. Many kids with little strength does that and somewhat Curry had that issue early in his career so when he build up strength and fix his habit he will be great 3pt shooter
