“Embiid’s injury…not gonna affect the way [Sixers] are going to approach [trade deadline] They were expected to be one of the most active teams…next Thursday’s deadline [Morey’s]…now lost four in a row he’s under…pressure to…upgrade this team, regardless of what this MRI shows.” – @WindhorstESPN

You’d think years of being a Sixers fan would have drained me of the ability to feel dread and worry, but nope. It’s all still there.

it better not unless it’s keeping him out for the playoffs

If we’re expected to be active then I take that as a good sign

Unless there is some dark horse player we don’t know about, I don’t think we are going to do anything to crazy. None of the players reported as available make my loins burn for the asking price

I’d imagine it’s held out through all star game. Which I think is good and needed.

There’s no way our current losing streak missing most of our starters is affecting Morey’s decision-making here.

It’s cool nobody in Philly cares about the sixers anyways they are a joke

I’m 99% sure we’re going for Murray. He’s the only one available with a low enough salary that preserves flexibility in the off season and a high enough impact player worth making our final move for. (If only Mikal was available)

Jimmy Buckets is coming home lfg (pure copium here but feel free to join in on the fun)

  10. Unless his injury is season ending, I don’t think it should change much of anything. There’s really not a huge difference between earning the 6th seed and the 2nd seed, so if you think you’ll have a healthy Embiid for the playoffs, you gotta be aggressive this season.

We’ve watched this movie before. 1st round exit without Embiid. 2nd round exit with him. I’m done.

Should have gotten Murray when he went on that little hot streak

We need players. Embiid can’t do everything himself. That’s how we got in this mess.

This guy Windhorst makes a living letting hot air [wind] flow from his mouth that is no more valuable than the hot air out his ass. Utterly useless to society.

I’m so glad we’ve reached the “outsiders bully the sixers into doing self harming bullshit” stage of the season so I can officially stop giving a shit
