These fourth quarters are such a problem. We barely made it out tonight against one of the worst teams in the league, but we still coughed up a 25 pt lead.
This team needs to figure out how to play with a lead in the second half. Rotations need adjusting. Players need to step up. I get it’s growing pains and the team is young but man, they look so hopeless during the other team’s runs.
Anyway a win is a win. Go Magic
Six guys in double figures, I like that.
Nice win for the Magicians. Sloppy finish. Young team mentally chalking up the win before they close out. Better learn young boys.
Watching these games is brutal. Almost long for the days when I had no expectations for this team.
I feel like Gogas getting traded
I was about to have an aneurysm watching ANOTHER lead blown
We had to win this one. If we lost it this way I would have thrown everything out of the window. Now Minny ain’t easy. But we can do it.
Honestly don’t mind the result too much. Banked the win and still displayed some of the flaws this team has.
We know enough about what this team is now, time to improve the roster around our key guys.
Defense saved the game in the 3rd.
I would legit bench Moe and Ingles the next game.
I’m really going to need posters to start holding players accountable as they do Mose. Our bench should be able to play 4 minutes without shitting the bed, Paolo doesn’t need to log 42 minutes against the Spurs when we’re leading by 25. Our starters being the ones who got the lead and then kinda sucked there for a bit just shows how nobody knows what lineups “work”, just fans want the one that works, which is unpredictable from quarter to quarter, especially with our non-shooters.
Timeouts needed to be quicker though.
Went from a fun to a frustrating game. Still glad to get the dub tho
Got a little spicy there at the end. It’s just something about 15+ point leads where this team feels like they’ve won. They need to stop that and respect their opponents. Mosely has made some interesting choices to start the road trip so far. We need an assistant coach or someone else to help him with collapses and late game execution.
Doomers punching the air we won that game
Not quite as bad as almost blowing the lead against the pacers, but it’s right up there
From what I watched, Ingles looks completely gassed. Whatever magic he had with our 2nd unit to begin the season has fizzled. He looks old, slow, had a couple bad turnovers, and he almost looks as if he took a few possessions off in the effort department.
Took too many bad three point shots in the 4th quarter and of course none of them fell. Mose’s game plan should’ve been to attack the basket but instead we looked absolutely lost on offense.
Just don’t believe in Mosely as a coach. He’s a fine developmental guy and he’s obvi got us focused on the defensive end. But god damn we are a trainwreck on offense.
Well boys at least were getting some nice leads last couple games! Just have to learn how to keep them!
I think the extreme divide in talent on this team is becoming more and more apparent. There is such a drop off once we get to players 5-15 on this team. The lack of shooting, poor defense, ball handling, rebounding etc is too much to ignore.
One blockbuster trade isn’t going to fix it either. This offseason is crucial. The front office can’t sit on their hands this summer.
Never worried!

maybe a little worried…
Weltman need to stop playing games and go get a crunch time bucket getter to help these guys man.
Isaac matched up well with Wemby today. Should have played him more minutes.
Did Wemby really have 6 blocks? I watched the whole game and was really suprised at the end when I saw that stat.
I saw one possession where the offense ran a Franz and Paolo PnR, that led to Franz feeding Paolo, who was in great paint position and got an easy bucket. This needs to become a staple.
Franz’s passing in the PnR is too good to not get Paolo some easy looks. I’m guessing it will take some work to get Paolo used to being a roll man, as he plays more like a guard, but its just more effective offense than having him ISO every time he wants to get a shot.
Franz with zero free throws is crazy. He attacks the rim so much. Really great JI game and definitely a nail-biter at the end. I will take it after what we’ve been through this past month.
Wish I had someone that loved me as much as the Magic love blowing leads. Was also gonna say I wish I a had someone that would blow me as hard as the Magic blow leads but that’s crass and immature and not what the internet is all about.
Funniest thing for me was that everyone tried to score on Wemby/ shoot above him.
Pretty sure the one who didn’t, has lost an internal competition.
Jonathan Isaac matching up Wemby as well as anyone in the league, and other teams fans are trading Bertans and some first for him on their trade machines lol
Anyone else catch Chuma having fun, singing to Taylor Swift around the end of the 3rd quarter or so? It was so wholesome lol
Paulo, Franz, Issac looked fantastic tonight in their own ways. Great to see Paulo taking it to the rim for some strong dunks.
All of our guys had a positive +/- today
Is that anything?
Good win! Needed win. If we’re hoping to be in playoffs, it’d be inexcusable to lose against the weakest. Maybe only one time.
We’ve met Wolves, so I’d like to see Magic has planned out proper counters for them. Loss if it can’t be prevented, but I want a balanced and hard fought tug of war.
Go kick some ass Magic!
