[Shams Charania] The NBA has fined the Philadelphia 76ers $75,000 for violation of injury reporting regarding Joel Embiid’s absence Saturday vs. Denver. But no violation of player participation policy due to Embiid’s confirmed injury.

Yea saw this coming don’t know why they didn’t just list him as questionable in the first place

  2. McBrungus

A bunch of brain geniuses are gonna look at this as “he wasn’t injured” even though it says right in the tweet that he was

  3. He should basically be listed as questionable before every game like Brady was for years.

What’s a tiny bit annoying about this though, is that everybody thought it was really funny when Malone had all his starters listed as questionable before the game in Philly. “Haha, he’s trolling the Sixers!” Seems like that was manipulating the injury report too.

  4. WallOld615

Just list his as questionable every single game for the rest of his career then.

  5. aint our money and maybe that will teach the owner to hire a communications team that actually does its fucking job properly. pure incompetence lol

  6. Sixers0321

Every team should just start doing what the Lakers do with AD and Lebron. List everybody questionable before every game.

The management of this franchise is super incompetent lmao. Doesn’t matter who’s the GM or president of ops or whatever, always fucking terrible. Josh Harris master class. Stupid fucker just stuck himself with Dan Quinn for the Commanders too as HC.

Eh yeah this is fine. Team/ higher level medical staff did fuck up the reporting, not necessarily the player or immediate trainer.

He 100% should’ve been listed as questionable after the knee bang in Indy

I understand it’s the Sixers fault but how is this any different from a player tweaking something in pre game warmups. If the training staff withholds a player because they don’t like what they see it’s their right as medical professionals.

Tons of players play hurt on the edge of injury so is every team going to list every player as questionable to avoid fines? (Obviously not because the Sixers are held to a higher standard than other franchises so no one else will be fined)

I mean whatever but Adam Silver can still eat a shit from my butt

  11. The ownership will eat this fine. They knew it was coming. Hard for me to really care… not my money or my decisions
