Continuity up and down their roster it’s just funny looking back on it that they kept on saying oh the reason we’re going to take that next step is continuity I just I it just frustrates me now looking back on it but I want to ask this question to you know our tourists and

Honestly the Bulls whole front office what is the goal for this basketball team because as it stands right now you are a middle of the pack team and we’ll dive in some more stats here in a second but what is the goal do you want to be a

First round exit do you want to be a second round exit you know do you want to go compete for NBA championships and sometimes a goal heading into the season could be hey we’re not trying to win a ton of games we’re just trying to develop our own young players and then

Maybe get a higher draft pick and kind of build with you know what we already have but with the bull situation what is the goal heading into this year like I want to know when they were sitting down like what are we trying to do are we trying to compete for NBA championships

Are we trying to develop our young Talent are we trying to get a higher draft pick it just seems like they have no directions hence why they are NBA hence why they are in the NBA purgatory and right now they’re 23 and 26 sitting at the ninth seed in the Eastern

Conference and what bothers me so much is I promise you members of the Bulls front office are looking at the standings right now and being like oh wow the Bulls are in the playing tournament we don’t we don’t need to be sellers we’re right there trying to make

The playoffs listen guys your your max potential is you somehow get that a seed and you lose to the Celtics I was actually originally saying in five games is the best case scenario no the Celtics would beat you in four the Bucks would beat you in four the Knicks would beat

You in four that is your max potential with this basketball team and I do want to get to some of these stats uh offensively for the Bulls because last season they actually did finish top five in defensive rating following the Patrick Beverly um signing Midway through last season but the thing that

Bothers me so much another word that they kept saying or phrase that they kept saying during the offseason is oh hey we are going to shoot more threes we’re going to be a more analytically driven basketball team that has been farther from the truth look at this still in three-point attempts per game

Javon Carter in 2023 hasn’t changed the core ceiling again I suppli the preseason thinking above the new offensive philosophy coupled with young players development would make an impact in the parody field Eastern Conference and the Bulls are firmly in the playin race listen I understand like guys like

Tory Craig Andre Drummond like Javon Carter they are great guys that you know help you make moves on the margins teams that are contending for championships make moves on the margin not a team that is sitting in the ninth seed or the 10th seed in their in their conference that’s what’s so frustrating

And confusing about this basketball team you make moves like you are the contenders if you’re the Celtics if you’re the bucks if you’re the Knicks yes go out and get a Tory Craig get a Javon Carter but if you’re the Bulls what’s the freaking Point that’s why
