  1. This is what happens when you don’t win games. You don’t get the respect on and off the court

  2. ZoroChopper10

I mean team record matters, I’m not why anyone expected a 17-30 team to get a all star unless stats were insanely good

  3. I think he deserves it, however, Bam Adebayo over Scottie is 50/50

  4. The_Living_L

their team is also in the top 8 so yes he deserves it based off that

  5. Dangerous-Thing3910

Might as well do one of these for half the reserves selected

  6. injury replacement maybe but its tough with our record

  7. mxgicjohnson

Paolo deserved it. Bam doesn’t deserve it imo.

    Paolo has played well recently

    Team record is also important

  8. pakattack91

I honestly think Scottie is better off just having a break away from ball for a few days. I hope he goes on vacation or something and just relaxes

He just saw Masai “Red Wedding” House Raptors

  9. It-sOkBro

scottie’s been a certified brick since the trades, maybe next year

  10. yaboydrew7

It sucks, however there are probs 2 spots opening up with Randle and Embiid injured so there’s a chance

  11. Magic deserved someone, let’s not be salty. This is what happens when your team isn’t good

  12. PlumCantaloupe

Hopefully it fuels Scottie 💪 Record and being on an American team make a big difference.

  13. Several_Repeat_5447

We can’t act like we have benefited from players playing on better teams. Just look at 2019 Lowry.

  14. Scotties BPM has almost fallen by 50% since the OG trade. He was on his way to getting a reserve spot but he fell off after that trade.

  15. Scottie just had a game where he scored like 12 and was bad. C’mon yall

  16. Let’s be real here, one guy is on a winning team and the other guy isn’t. Yes, Scottie stats say he should be an all-star but everyone else that got nominated deserves it over him. He might be an injury replacement but even then, we all know winning contributes to getting those all star votes from the coaches. Our team doesn’t win enough games to warrant him being an all-star. Trae Young deserves it more over Scottie if we’re being fair here.

  17. Punjabiveer30

I see we’ve moved on from Scottie vs Mobley to Scottie vs Paolo 🫡

  18. 2against1

Scottie has been trash as the number 1 option. Didn’t do himself any favours.

  19. It’s good motivation for Scottie. He got the RoY accolade, now he gets to experience Banchero leapfrogging him to add fuel to the fire

  20. I can’t believe everyone in here agrees with the snub based on team record.

The ASG is not about featuring teams, it’s about individual players and how amazing they are.

There’re good reasons why the ASG game has turned to shit over the past couple decades and the roster selection is a big part of it.

  21. Karl_with_a_C

This is so petty. Paolo deserves it. It’s not all about stats. Winning matters.

  22. OG_Wan_Annunoby

Scottie is unquestionably the better player but the all star game always rewards winning if it’s even remotely close.

He’s got his whole career ahead of him, I’m not too pressed

  23. GreekGodofStats

Wild to me that we’re gonna have an All-Star forward with a .495 eFG%

  24. brown_boognish_pants

Man we should trade Scottie for him… and then trade him for FRPs. #WETHEPICKS

  25. I’ll have the Pablos Rancheros over easy, salsa on the side.

  26. Barnicus57

Orlando is two games above .500. Toronto is THIRTEEN games below .500. How is that so hard to understand? Do you think coaches are looking at box plus minus when making their choices?

  27. ShutterBug545

Tbh he deserves it he’s one of my favorite young players in the nba

  28. TemplarParadox17

To be fair, he has been dropping multiple 35+ and 40 point games and magic are higher seed.

  29. TJStrawberry

That’s cool. Scottie will make it once we start winning that’s for sure.

  30. ImmaFunGuy

The stat you forgot to show (the most important one) is team W-L

  31. BozePerkovic

Team record impacting, although I fuck with Paolo so it is what it is

  32. ilickedysharks

Just saw on Twitter Paolo is the first all star with -4 rTS since Micheal Redd in 05 lmao that’s wild

  33. SincereFan

Literally players voted that same guy as the 4th best frontcourt player in the NBA. Maybe, just maybe, they know ball. And before anybody says Thanasis, thats a random small amount of votes, Paolo got the 4th most votes right after the big 3/MVP 3. He was voted over many other previous All Star and ALL NBA/Future HOF guys. He deserves his respect, its not fans appointing a guy off the bench or a 4th stringer on a decent team like when Reaves/Kuzma was getting alot of votes from being on the Lakers.

Players, fans, media, and now coaches all say Paolo is top of East, everything else is just sour grapes. Paolo has had 0 national games and somehow still amassed 6th most votes. Sengun was getting alot of hype but at the end of the day, coaches who were praising him, still did not place him in the AS game or weren’t enough to get him there, that speaks volumes. Players loved Sengun also, said all type of very high praise and voted him #11. Speaks volumes. Getting voted #4 by peers, #6 by media with any national games and no help by the media with favorable pieces or ever getting prime time interviews, and somehow swaying media to voting for you by the time of the vote because of your play despite them never actually promoting you and always voting you low in every redraft or blank under something ranking. Paolo convinced everybody and should not smeared, was never given anything.
