You when you walked in the building tonight uh just like remembering the times you know uh you know I came in I was like man I’m actually going to the visitors locker room didn’t really know where I was going honestly um but it was just

Like a you know I kind of went down memory lane a little bit as I walked Walked In And I was like man you know I’m really on a different team uh first time coming back it was like a lot of things went through my mind but um just

Thinking about the like I said down memory lane the good times the the good people uh the moments and everything it was very emotional for Rip City fans when you left the team no matter you know how the decision was made what would you like to say to these these

Fans that will support you no matter if you’re on their team or another um I mean I feel the same way about the the fans here here in Portland I feel the same way about the city you know of Portland um you know I just would want

Them to know that everything that uh that I put into my time here um everything I ever said about my time here and how I felt about uh Portland and being here it was genuine you know and I still feel that way today um you know but life is hard sometimes you know

You got to make decisions and uh you got to do hard things you know even when you might hurt yourself and you might hurt people that you really care about um but it’s not a forever thing you know it’s just a it’s a sport it had to happen and

Um you know that’s that’s where I stand are you happy I am uh ultimately I I think about the times um you know obviously I loved playing here I still live here um but at the the stage of my career that I’m in you know I think the

Organization was just you know they pretty much had to Pivot you know and and try to build something new and uh at the same time I had to do the same if I wanted to um you know have opportunity to accomplish what we all ultimately want to accomplish thank you for all you
