I don’t know why fans are so upset about this? Adams was essential to a specific kind of success and gameplan our team found. He created second chance opportunities that lead to fast break scoring and he sets incredible screens creating space out of nothing for guys like Bane to shoot or Ja to turn a corner.

HOWEVER, he was played off the floor in the playoffs by athletic big men he couldn’t guard. He would have been a liability in some sense against certain closing matchups in the playoffs. The truth, as hard as it is to swallow is that we need to find a better, more athletic C that can shoot so we can play 5 out. That’s our ticket to post season success.
Please please please tell me we are trading second round picks and vic and luke for Wendell Carter Jr and ill be happy. Shit even Daniel Gafford. If we somehow traded for Jarrett Allen I’d like that too. At the very least we need a big 5 who can play on ball defense starting at the top of the key. Gafford and ALlen cant shoot but they can guard more positions on switches and take players from the 3 pt line. Things Stevo cant really do.
