KP knows us well lol

Kristaps Porzingis: “This is the NBA. This is almost like a script. You’re going to lose this type of game and fans are going to think it’s the end of the world, and we lost to the Lakers without AD and LeBron, like, end of the season. Boom. Done. But it’s just a loss. It’s just a loss which we have to learn from. And which we will. We’re going to get a couple days rest which I think a lot of guys especially will be really useful for and we bounce back hungry and full energy.”

Scal said it best years ago. I’m closer to lebron then you are to me. This is still a league filled with the best players in the world. Anything can happen. its 1 game.

Doomers gonna doomer. It’s really odd to me that some people seem to fetishize the loses and future bad outcomes.

The team has some flaws, every team does. Anybody else has watched a season of sports knows there’s up and downs. Lots of ups right now.

If the Lakers have normal shooting luck then we win that game easy

I do not give a single fuck about that loss. It happens, you can’t go 82-0 and generally the Celtics have been great at bringing the effort every single night. Way better than previous years.

However, I do find it slightly odd that Joe Mazzulla and now KP are kinda sorta lecturing the fans on how unfair it is to expect great basketball from them every night. Like… why are you taking the moral high ground because you didn’t play well enough? Why do you need to turn this into some kind of lesson for the fans? I’m mostly talking about Joe, not KP as much anymore. I just think it’s a little weird. All you gotta do is say “we’re better than this” and by the same time tomorrow none of us would care about that game. There’s no need to preach at the fans.
