    On the snub itself:

“I’ve got a lot of love for the fans … I ain’t got much to say about it right

The lead-in to this quote was:

“Yeah, I mean, I would, instead of being selfish and like, an asshole towards it…”

And he qualified it to say that that being selected was in no way guaranteed.

    (Kevin Chouinard’s tweets)

If the reports are true that Trae declined the injury replacement spot for the last couple of seasons, somebody 100% ( my money on dominique since they were talking before the game) said something to convince him to change his mind and go

I want him to go the fuck off in the all star game.

This is the right response… at the end of the day he has to get his reputation straightened out again … his podcast, his press conferences and now this they all indicate that’s kinda what he has been trying to get to which again is the right move …

I honestly haven’t been a massive Trae believer until this year – combination of me being a Texas alum (who was really really mad about the Luka trade on draft night) and thinking Trae was a bit too “AAU” brained at times on court

Ive always thought he was good but never the guy I wanted to rep the Hawks as the #1 until this year.

He’s matured so much between last year and this year. I feel kinda bad for being so harsh on a guy who’s been representing this city since he was 19 years old, but between last year and this year it’s wild. There’s no passive aggressive anything anymore and he just wants to win. Never thought he was the “coach killer” the media made him out to be, but didn’t think he could mature into what he is. I think he’s also buying into Quinn’s system and it’s no longer anything close to “empty stats” – just a roster that outside of JJ and Bogi that doesn’t support the way he plays

He’s worked his ass off on defense to the point where he’s honestly pretty good for his size – nothing’s for lack of effort. I was lucky enough to see him courtside when we played the nets earlier this year and he was working harder than anyone else on our team on that side of the ball

I’m drunk and rambling, but this little motherfucker has won me over and I never thought he would
