The Utah Jazz Should Trade For Brandon Ingram
All right so recently I’ve gone from one of the biggest Brandon Ingram supporters on this app to a Brandon Ingram hater apparently but Brandon Ingram is still one of my favorite players in the NBA I just think it’s pretty clear at this point that him and Zion are not going to
Be the duo we all hoped and dreamed for so I’ve been on a trade machine looking at potential fits for Brandon Ingram and I’ve come to the conclusion that I think the Utah Jazz should trade for Brandon Ingram the Utah Jazz are one of the only
Teams in the NBA where their best player is not a shot Creator or an above average passer there’s a ton of teams I think Brandon Ingram can go to and coexist and even help that team but for the Utah Jazz I actually think he would make lri marinin even better and the
Reason I feel like that is the best version we’ve seen of Brandon Ingram happened to come alongside Trey Murphy when it was Brandon Ingram Trey Murphy Jonas valent Tunis that’s when we’ve seen the best version of Brandon Ingram and Brandon Ingram Larry marinan and Walker Kessler would be that onster and
I understand if you guys don’t watch Pelicans basketball you probably don’t understand how good Trey Murphy is even though he’s having a bit of a Down Season working his way back from injury but last season you guys know Larry Markin became the only player in NBA
History to have 200 threes and 100 dunks in the same season also last year Trey Murphy had 202 threes and 85 dunks I don’t think it’s farfetched to say Trey Murphy’s going to join that club pretty soon in his career I’m not saying he’s going to be as good as Larry marinin but
I’m saying there are similar players and Trey Murphy did that in only 31 minutes per game and at the end of last season when Trey Murphy really emerged averaging 20 points over the last 20 games of the Season we’ve seen the best version of Brandon Ingram he averaged 27
Points seven assists and six boards in those 20 games and then the last 12 games they finished out that season 9 and three I know Larry marinan and Brandon Ingram doesn’t sound like the sexiest Duo but it’s a Duo that compliments each other and a lot of times that’s what’s really more
Important on paper Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson should be a better Duo but they don’t make each other better Larry marinin and Brandon Ingram would definitely make each other better and the reason I feel like this is a real possibility is because what we just seen with the Pascal cakam trade they got
Bruce Brown and three first round picks three mediocre at best first round picks for Pascal cakam and Pascal cakam is about to get a Max extension a lot of people feel like Pascal is not worth that extension but he’s worth that because he’s paired with a player he
Fits with and Tyrese halberton he’s also worth it for the Pacers because the Pacers don’t ever get free agents who’s the last amazing free agent to sign with the Indiana Pacers so the Pacers felt comfortable giving up three first round picks and overpaying quote unquote overpaying a max deal for SE yakum
Because he fit with their guy and who else are they going to get and Brandon Ingram I feel like it’s similar Brandon Ingram wants a Max extension I’m not sure who’s giving Brandon Ingram a Max but a team like the Utah Jazz where Brandon Ingram fits with their best
Player Brandon Ingram is a very talented player that they probably wouldn’t be able to sign in free agency that’s a team that can look at Brandon Ingram and say you know what he’s worth the max for us the Raptors looked at their situation they looked at Scotty Barnes and said
You know what Pascal is not really worth the max for us building around Scotty the Pelicans probably going to have the same conversation where Brandon Ingram as great as he is it’s just no denying he does not fit with Zion Williamson so why are we going to max out a guy to
Play with the guy we don’t think fit it it just doesn’t make a lot of sense so if the Pelicans got a similar deal to the one the Raptors just got I know a lot of fans would probably be upset about that but if they got Colin ston
Kelly oen three first round picks probably two first round picks that might seem like not a lot I think that’s a fine deal I think Kelly O lenck is a perfect fit next to Zion he’s a real shooter not like yonas Valen chunis who shout out to him but he just shoots
Threes occasionally Kelly oen is actually a shooter if you can extend him I think that’s a fine deal to get Colin ston not the answer but he’s someone that you can keep along he’s going to he’s on a good deal and you get the first round picks to potentially attach
Him for the next big deal I think that’s a fine deal for the Pelicans but fans will look at it and say you’re trading Brandon Ingram for Colin sex it’s not that it’s about building your team it’s never in a vacuum like that as I always
Try to stress to you guys if you’re asking me do I want Colin sexon and Kelly oen over Brandon Ingram in general no but if I’m the Pelicans I can see how that pivot would make sense to get those picks and gear up for the next Super
Start but this is not a Pelicans video let’s focus on the Utah Jazz and why it maybe makes sense for them I already spoke about his fit with lari marketing I spoke about the fact that they’re not going to get any starfree agents in all likelihood but another reason is this is
Not even really a swing for the fences if you’re the Utah Jazz getting Brandon Ingram giving up potentially two first round picks you still have a ton of picks you still have a ton of young Talent maybe someone like kante George develops into a star but if not you
Still have the assets to go out there and get the third guy and you have two contracts on the book looks right now that would be great salary filler in John Collins and Jordan Clarkson if they’re not going to be a part of the future which they probably aren’t going
To be regardless if they get Brandon Ingram or not you still have oaji Keon George fonio Walker Kessler obviously and you have nine first round draft picks in the next three years now let’s assume you get rid of two of those you still have seven in the next three years
To go out there and get whoever you would need to go get it just makes a ton of sense to me maybe I’m still being biased toward Brandon Ingram and trying to find the perfect place for Brandon Ingram to go shine but again it’s the comparison to the Pascal seum situation
The Kings could have had him they weren’t prepared to take that risk or they weren’t going to give him the max but him and sabonis is a kind of a clunky fit the Warriors wanted Pascal yakum I’m not sure they were willing to give him the Max and him and Draymond
Kind of a Cluny fit so when I look at Brandon Ingram I’m looking for a team that makes sense to get the best version of Brandon Ingram possible the Utah Jazz fit thatat and a team that would be willing to give him the max the Utah
Jazz fits that to a team now this is probably more of an offseason thing especially for the Pelicans right they’re a good team right now they’re probably talking themselves into them being a contender this year they’re probably want to give this one more run
At it but if they come up short lose in the first round or get dominated in the second round they’re going to look around they’re going to look at Trey Murphy’s upcoming extension they just paid herb Jones they got a great deal for herb Jones they’re still paying CJ
For two more years after this year Jonas valent Tunis is on an expiring deal I would guess they bring him back at a you know a nice deal I’m not sure I’m not sure what affordable Center is out there that’s going to be better than Jonas valent chunis this team is just clearly
Coming up on a Crossroads it’s already been five years of Brandon Ingram and Zion together even though they’ve barely played together in those 5 years which is part of the problem here but like I said this is more than likely an offseason thing I guess it it all
Depends how the Pelicans feel about where they are right now if they truly believe they’re some contending team which I don’t know any Pelicans fan that truly believes that as long as we see Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson are not this Elite Duo together that’s the only way you would actually believe in
This team if you felt like that duo was going to get it done together and you you’ve seen nothing to to give you that feeling even though they’re a winning team they feel like they’re a winning team in spite of that duo not really playing together so if they’re tricking
Themselves into believing this is some real Championship contending team and I hope I’m wrong Maybe I’m Wrong Brandon Ingram Zion Williamson just turning up in the playoffs they decide you know what it’s you and me we’re sha and Kobe right now it’s you and me I don’t see it
But if that’s what they believe no they wouldn’t do this deal but if they believe they’re in a very good position right now and if they just took a small step back to take a huge step forward I feel like it would be a great pivot for this team Brandon Ingram would
Absolutely flourish in Utah we’ get to see his playmaking truly unlocked with Lowry marinin and Walker Kessler as a ROM man the Pelicans would get to see how good Trey Murphy actually can be they’d get to give herb Jones more op opportunities on offense Hawkins would get more minutes just things would be
More clear things would be more clear I know the Brandon Ingram stands are strong that’s part of the way I built this channel was Brandon Ingram stands coming to my videos because there was a point where Brandon Ingram was the most underrated player in basketball there was a point where nobody was talking
About bi we’re now in year eight year n of bi and he has not been that player we all thought he could be it’s okay to admit that and I’m acknowledging that he’s not necessarily in the best position right now to really show his full skill set there’s not a lot of
Space on the court partly because Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson play together I think Brandon Ingram would be better without Zion I think Zion would be better without Ingram like they operate the same parts of the court it’s not an indictment on either one of them individually I always stress that it’s
Not about the individual it’s about what’s best for the team and Brandon Ingram to Utah would be a win win for both of these teams I really believe that but if you guys disagree let me know in the comments down below if you guys feel like Brandon Ingram might get
Traded let me know what team you feel like he would be a good fit on like I said earlier I don’t think Brandon Ingram is just this terrible fit I think he could fit a lot of places he could coexist a lot of places but Larry marinan is someone that just fits
Perfectly I do still think Brandon Ingram remains probably the most underrated playmaker in the NBA and I feel like they would unlock each other on the court that’s how I feel though again let me know how you guys feel let me know how you feel about this Pelicans
Team right now maybe you’re someone that’s extremely positive about the team right now and I would get why they have a winning record it seems like they’re playing well but I just watched the games every night and I never come away impressed with what Brandon Ingram and
Zion Williamson did together as a Duo I’ve yet to see it I’ve yet to see it again they’re extremely talented they can coexist but I’ve yet to see them operate as as this amazing Duo I just haven’t seen it maybe you guys are seeing something that I’m not seeing but
Let me know how you guys feel in the comments even if you’re going to tell me I’m an idiot I don’t know anything about basketball Brandon Ingram and Zion are the next Shack and Kobe everything we’ve been hearing for The Last 5 Years let me know in the comments down below how you
Feel thank you guys so much for watching I’m out peace

Interesting idea . How many years are on BI's contract ? I don't see danny ainge giving up draft picks even for a player as awesome as BI just to see hom walk in the off-season. But if he has even 1 uear more i could see this possibly happening
I'm not that familiar with Brandon Ingram's game but one of the best sides of Lauri is that he fits with pretty much anybody. So I believe when you say they would be good fit. I guess for Jazz the question is then if he is the best option available and also they have big emphasis on the guys character. I have no idea what kind of reputation he has.
Ingram and Zion both fail to make each other better because that's their nature. Each would suck life out of any team they were traded to. Sorry he's not worth the pick dump we'd have to trade for him. I've never liked his game or personality regardless of his point total.
Lifetime Jazz fan here. We won't trade Sexton. If you're not paying close attention to Jazz games, I can forgive you for not knowing that he's become the heart of the team and a facilitator we wouldn't compromise. KO, THT, Ochai and a pick or two for Ingram would work, though. I actually like that quite a bit. That said, I think Zion is on borrowed time before another injury, so you will probably need Brandon.
Sexton is better Ingram is right now,so no trade.
Really interesting idea for the Jazz but if I’m the Pels I’d want to see Ingram and Zion in the playoffs together before pulling the trigger on a trade
Ive been wanting Ingram in Utah for years. Not sure Pels would agree. Ingram and Lauri and Kessler together? Wow
Ingram at the 3 collins at the 4 lauri at the 5☠️ would be dangerous
It would be an intresting trade to have Ingram!
Great vid got my sub! 👍 GO JAZZ!!!
The Jazz won't offer that for Ingram. The Jazz sold Mitchell and Gobert which was a guaranteed playoff appearance. The Jazz are aiming higher than that. They want a chip and they are going to try. They have a very short list of players that they are willing to give up their picks for and Ingram isn't on it.
If the Jazz are the only team willing to give him the max then why not wait and keep your picks? They aren't contenders this season so what's the rush?
I am realizing that David Griffin is just not a great team assembler. he got lucky with Lebron in CLE, but since then he has not proven any value. I do not believe he will ever assemble a championship team.
Unexpected trade idea. It might work. Here's another-Ingram to Cleveland for Garland. Helps both teams
Ingram is worth more than you are offering. The two first's would have to be lottery picks.
I think they should finish the season rn
Not good enough of a deal for Utah, but would be cool to see.
Sexton, Ochai/Dunn, BI, Lauri, Walker >>>>> CJ, Herb, Trey, Zion, Val
I always have coveted Tatum I know that will never happen but Ingram is the closest thing. Don't hate it.
I'd love to have Brandon Ingram on the Jazz, but I don't want to give up Sexton to get him. Trade two other Jazz players and two mediocre first round picks, ya, that's something the Jazz should at least consider. *** I just tried a trade of Olynyk and Clarkson for Ingram on the ESPN Trade Machine and it works. I'd be fine with doing that. The only unfortunate thing for the Jazz is that if Ingram works out great — which I think he would — he's going to be expensive to re-sign at the end of 2024-2025 season. 🤑
BI is a solid player but has to change his shot profile and shoot more 3s to free up Zion more. Willie Green and CJ have both said this but it seems like he doesn't want to. So I agree maybe trading him for players that fit Zion better would be a good idea. personally, i question if BI is really a winning player anyway. Not a good one but a winner.
I wish Riley would do this, but he rather keep the Heat together, but needs to make a few big moves, mainly Herro,Buttler,Martin,Richardson, they all need to be traded.
Didn't watch the video. But no, they definitely shouldn't trade for Ingram.
Houston, sixers, spurs are perfect fit.
