[Dane Moore] Chris Finch when asked if the offensive issues the Wolves are having are impacting the defense?

“Yeah, absolutely. That’s like the cardinal sin, really. And we have won because of our defense. And our offense, I thought it was gonna get better and it really hasn’t. There are time when it looks really good. But quite frankly, that’s personnel-related — it’s not related to everybody trying to play the same way. But I think we hopefully addressed some of that balance today, and hopefully we’ll see a difference going forward.”

It’s good to hear Finch acknowledge this. Hopefully it really does improve going forward.

Personnel related? Either we’re getting more plays or Tim Connelly is about to COOK

Watching Saint-Quentin vs Le Mans of the French league on League Pass and it’s all set plays and execution, leading to beautiful team basketball.  I wish the Wolves could add even 5% of this reliance on fundamentals and structure, and the team would be truly dominant.  Free-flow bball doesn’t work well with this roster, as we have all remarked time and time again, whereas the style these French teams play is exactly what the Wolves would benefit from.
