The thing with Klay is his bad games are extremely bad, to the point he makes it almost impossible to win despite them. Just a black hole on offense and defense, with some of the worst decision making and body language you’ll ever see.

  2. Blaasko30

The moment steph missed the game winner, the game ended.

  3. torturetrilogy

Legit wasted a Steph 60 point game. I hope everyone else feels bad.

  4. Itezguatitez

TJD not playing in the last 8 minutes and the overtime, instead playing a 4 guards lineups when JK fouled out was certainly a decision by Steve Kerr.

  5. Klay with a beyond embarrassing and incredibly selfish performance.

Was only worried about himself tonight. I’m so mad that they wasted that Steph performance.

And why didn’t TJD get more minutes?

  6. Ahrilicious

How many moments of self reflection does Klay need to finally stop killing this team?

Hope Wiggs is okay cause I don’t want to see Klay closing a game again and get more minutes.

Sidenote: here comes the trade everyone guys out of their holes

  7. Itezguatitez

Curry was willing to die to win; Klay was willing to lose to chuck.

  8. DonyellFreak

Damn needed it. Another moral victory that’s killing us.

  9. SeekingSignificance

Knew it was a loss as soon as we went into OT. Legs were dead and we’re always ass in OT. Another Steph masterpiece wasted. Also Klay air balling a 3 just to take an even deeper 3 and air balling that one too? Come on already!

  10. Duckysawus

Klay Thompson 4-19 games seem to be more of the norm rather than freak occurrences nowadays.

    He’s 42.1% for the season… that’s Green’s 3-pt FG% this season…

  11. Itezguatitez

Klay would rather shoot from behind the backboard instead of attack a closeout and generate a better shot for a teammate. I’m completely done with his selfish play.

  12. Balls_of_Adamanthium

Too many injuries + Steph 1-man team. We badly need a C.

  13. Itezguatitez

Klay with 5 of the most demoralizing misses I’ve seen in just one game. The one in the first half where he gets a good steal, has Kuminga open and calling for the alley on the break with only TRAE YOUNG somewhat close, in a 2v1 situation, yet Klay chooses to klank one more three…

Peak Klay. As good as Trae was today, Klay was more of a factor for Atlanta than anybody on their team.

  14. I think I could accept losing and being bad if Curry wasn’t still such a godlike player damn man…

  15. ccastro425

Valiant effort from the guys, especially down so many players. Can’t deny that we still have a huge problem with rebounding and turnovers, but it is what it is.

Curry with 60 at least super fun to watch.

  16. FlyRevolutionary2519

The Dubs really wasted a Steph 60-point masterclass smh

  17. Klay Thompson is replaceable, idgaf what anyone says, he’s getting paid more than Luka

  18. dwide_k_shrude

I thought I was numb to the losses but this one hurts. 🙁

  19. ImTheBestNerd

Really closed with Steph-Podz-Lester-Klay and got fucking ass pounded in the paint and couldn’t rebound. The decision to not play Trayce is fucking malpractice Kerr is a dumbass.

  20. Klay lost us the game despite Curry’s incredible performance

  21. mattjchin

A trade needs to happen Mike pick up the phone. Klay may need to go as sad as it sounds. They need a center and they need to get Steph more help. Scoring 60 and losing just isn’t right.

  22. unfortunate wiggins got hurt, dude wasnt balling offensively but he was putting in work defensively.

  23. How do you singlehandedly shoot your team to an L, absolutely pathetic for a $40m+ player…?

  24. How tf did kuminga foul out. Softest calls ever for foul 5 & 6

  25. jimmyb03181998

Trade Klay. I don’t care anymore. He’s inconsistent, shoots way too many stupid shots, low effort player, sucks at defending. Fuck the retire with the core shit. Look what Steph is still capable of.

  26. BitInitial2599

Why did trae young get to attempt an extra free throw after missing one? And why is this the second time in a week that a team has gotten to do that against us?

  27. sergechewbacca

Klay Thompson is a bum. We cannot play him more than 15-18 mins a game next season if we’re actually serious about winning.

  28. elementzer01

Don’t care if Klay is traded or cut, either way it’s addition by subtraction.

  29. Maleficent-Lobster93

klay thompson has lost this team countless game this season by selfishly chucking them out of it. but go off and tell me about that one good streak he had*
    a streak against shitty teams

  30. What the flying f was that Trae young call in overtime?!? That was hands down the worst call of the entire season

  31. wentzvania

hope this game is enough to silence the “we dont need a trade” “we are getting better” “we can make a push” crowd

smh waste a 60 point game from steph.

  32. moneygoeshere

Plays a 4 guard lineup rest of game after Kuminga fouls out when center position is murdering Warriors and TJD played 9 great minutes I’m so fucking tired of Kerr this season my fucking god

  33. Klay needs to be benched for the rest of the season if he isn’t traded. If he isn’t hitting his shots he is providing nothing else for the team, and is taking away from everyone else.

Dude has Jordan Poole levels of BBIQ when it comes to taking shots. Going 4/16 lets keep chucking 🤪

  34. nerdalerd

The NBA is not going to be in a good place going forward with how they legislating what can count as defense these days, which apparently is nothing and everything at the same time. Ironically JK is our only dude who does foul bait and he didn’t get jack shit tonight.

On a more serious note, it really is asking a LOT out of this team given all the injuries we have. No CP3, GP2, Moody, Saric, Wiggs out at the half. You can argue that JK is our second option now and he “fouled” out. You can survive some absences but at some point it’s going to add up.

  35. Draymond4Prez

Klay is literally Jordan Poole 2.0 (last season) he is playing selfish and only for himself

  36. dwide_k_shrude

Guys, I’m starting to think we might not even make the play-in.

  37. Love Klay will always ride with him but no more Klay apology forms.

  38. can someone tell me why wasn’t Klay benched for even someone like TJD during end of Q4 / OT? it was clear to everyone involved that Klay wasn’t going to contribute and it would’ve been nice to have a big at least

maybe dumb question. but genuinely frustrated seeing him take those 2 shots in OT

  39. neo9027581673

The fact that Atlanta put Trae Young on Klay should tell you what they think about him as a threat.
