I don’t want to see Cam get any more minutes this season.
He has the tools to be a real 3&D guy with some game off the bounce. Just needs more reps to improve his offensive feel. I expect a real leap in year 3

Max can be what Reaves was last year.
The second year spark plug that really comes into his own and becomes a huge part of our team.
If we trade him for Caruso or Murray I will be pissed
Easily our best guard defender with vando out. And he’s probably quicker on his feet than vando. Our future shooting guard
They need to let him stick to what he’s good at and don’t put too much on his plate. He’s not good at creating for others yet or even getting to the basket, so let him stick to catch and shoot 3s when he’s open. There are tons of good players in this league who contribute without having to dribble much. As he begins to improve his handle, that’s when you start to ask him to do more. For now, he needs to get steady minutes and let him focus on his strengths, which is defending and hitting open 3s. He has such a pretty ass shot and it’s a shame that he’s not playing at least 15-20 minutes every game.
Other than that late foul on Brunson, he played really good today.

If he can turn into a KCP type player, I’m happy. Probably our future shooting guard right here.
I can’t wait to see him get some legitimate run. I think the problem is that larger wings still body him and get to the basket like he’s not there. He does a great job against the quicker, less physical guards.

No need to look for Vando replacement or a serviceable 3-D guy. Just up his minutes to 27 per and we good.
I wish he would do more mid range pull ups than spot up 3s tho.
Give him 3-4 more years of development and he’ll be a very solid role player in the league.
He’s got a long way to go until he can be a reliable 3 and D guy for a team with championship aspiration. His shooting and defence are both too inconsistent, which isn’t a surprise he’s a 20 year old kid
