That series felt bigger than it was due to it was the first year of the Jays and Marcus being the leaders and “their team” and getting to the ECF without Kyrie and Al was huge at the time

My favorite Smart game, perhaps with recency bias, was last year against Philly game 6. Tatum was ice cold until he went insane in the fourth, and Marcus carried us that game. His best offensive game as a PG. We were only in it because of his playmaking and him and Al’s defense. Kept us alive just long enough for Tatum to bury them.
