>One, it might be five “firsts” with swaps and/or heavily protected picks, and if the offer was really five firsts, why share that and then continue to say they are not interested in trading Mikal Bridges?

I know what I have
So they want 5 firsts
They would have traded him if 5 first rounds where offered. I call BS
If somebody truly offered five first rounders for Mikal and they didn’t take it…..
Why stop at 5? Why not 10, 20 even?
If I was a nets fan I’d be going crazy reading all these reports like turning down 2 frps for DFS
I’m a bulls fan though so I cant act like I have it any better
5 1sts while the Knicks got Anunoby for 1 2nd 🤣
sean marks is not a serious gm

5 including 3 swaps from a good team that won’t convey, maybe
5 first rounders from a title contender maybe where 1sts are just glorified 2nds.
Getting a bunch of shitty late-1sts for the only premium asset we have would make me disown the team.
We’ll give you Miles for those FRPs 🤭
Who do they think Mikal is, Rudy Gobert?
Bro why do people keep posting this guy like he has sources. He’s a fan/blog boy who tries to connect dots. He’s no more reputable than people on this sub.
This is the same guy that wrote the article about Herb being available, a report that was refuted a day later by Marc Stein, a reporter with actual sources.
Jesus Christ 5 1sts for a 3rd option
Bridges just became the new OG
5 first rounders, but they’re all top 29 protected.
Mikal is a very good role player masquerading as a star. He’s becoming a tad bit overrated if the Nets wouldn’t trade him for 5 first rounders.
I saw another report the nets inquired about Bruce Brown. What? Why? Do the nets have no plan at all?
Matt Moore doesn’t know shit
People need to understand all picks aren’t worth the same. 5 Picks from the bucks, pelicans, or whoever else contender is basically like 5 lotto protected picks. Now if they were offered picks from the pistons or the lakers/clippers in 2030 then it’s worth a lot. Stop going crazy bc you see the headlines
This means they have wet dreams about 5 FR picks, will settle for 4 99% of the time, will consider 3 picks too.
Translated that for you.
they’re starting a bidding war
This is a blatant lie no way they turned that down
Something tells me it’s not a real trade.
Plus we would want Herbert and/or Dyson for Mikal.
Nets be like: “Reject 7 FRP for Mikal +DFS, Compete for play-in spot. We have a direction!”
This is all because Mikal made a good relationship with Joe Tsai and his wife. Joe thinks he has a “face” of the franchise and doesn’t want to let go because he already got rid of KD and Kyrie. Man would rather be drama free than winning games.
What are the Nets doing. Go for the full rebuild.
Nets trying to get more Kevin Durant value out of him lol
They turned down more for Bridges than they got for KD and Kyrie combined? There’s lying and there’s LYING
*Press X to doubt*
Mikal is getting a tad overrated. He’s the same age and is a similar player to Dejounte Murray, who’s actively on the trade block. If you believe in Dejounte as an off ball defender (you should.), there’s no difference in value.
Matt Moore is an unreliable source. Can we stop posting him
He’s pulling gobert numbers
There’s a huge difference between “first round pick” and “heavily protected first round pick that has a low chance of ever conveying”. 3 or 4 of the latter with 1 or 2 swaps technically could be said to be “5 FRP”. So it isn’t impossible.
