>He goes onto say that the Hawks want 2 1sts + a good young player in return (which is why he suggests that’s why Brooklyn despite appearing as a good match isn’t interested).

why utah?
Danny ainge boutta trade for Murray and make him look like a top 10 player then flip him for 5 firsts and a young guy
2 1sts and a good young player, that’s basically the 3 1sts they traded to get for him, I didn’t expect them to be so delusional to think they’ll be able to recoup what they lost
it’s okay utah, you can trade us taylor hendricks for malcolm brogdon as a consolation prize.
Knicks got 2 1sts + Quentin Grimes
Murray and Lauri is definitely a duo, just not sure the ceiling is very high for it. Would make the West more fun though!
Why the Lakers think they can get him without giving up Reaves.
He’s really about to be traded for Simone Fontechio and a bottle of diet coke
Hi there 🤗, this is the warriors front office lurking here. We will give you the multiple allstar and champion Klay Thompson straight up for Murray. That is an offer that you just can’t refuse.
Do yall think Dejounte could get back to his Spurs days of 9apg if he was the lead ball handler? Because we really need someone to run the offense (and really just pass to Lauri lol)
I still have yet to hear a good reason as to why the Lakers would make the trade even if it were just for the players. Let alone with draft picks included.
Also don’t really get why Utah would want the trade. They just got bamboozled by the Hawks with Collins. Maybe they should just form a super-maybe-play-in team with ATL.
either team would be making a massive mistake trading for him
I feel like Orlando would be a good fit
A couple of the Raptors beat writers have said on their podcasts that they’d heard privately that Dejounte was close to being traded to the Raptors but he was adamant he didn’t want to play in Toronto.
There’s something about him getting traded to Utah that’s really funny to me and I want it to happen in the worst way.
The absolute most we can realistically trade at the deadline is: Russell, JHS, Vincent, Hayes, 2029 First, 2028 and 2030 swaps, and 3 Second Rd Picks…
If we traded all of that in separate deals, I would expect a return of Dejounte Murray, DFS and Andre Drummond in order for it to be worth it… and we’d still need to go out there and sign Kyle Lowry in the buyout market.
I don’t see it happening. We could probably flip Russell (if he opts in) and 2 future firsts for Murray in the summer, but I get that ATL wants two decent picks if they trade him now. Maybe two swaps and the 2029 first would be enough? Dinwiddie to ATL, and Russell, Vincent, JHS and second rounders to BKN?
Ainge just there to make sure Lakers price is right.
Still think Spurs sweep in and get him for 2 firsts as that’s best offer they seem to be getting.
