Oshae Brissett to his grandchildren: I was the one who passed the ball to Jordan Walsh for his 1st career points.

I think he and Davidson are going to be key bench guys for us next year, especially once the White contract, Tatum super max, and Holiday resigning are all tied up

Your time is coming J.D.

Petition to nickname him “Monaka” (from Dragon Ball Super)

I think the organization is doing a good job of developing him by getting him minutes in the G league and having him work on glue guy skills
His shot seems fine (35% in G league) so if he can be a solid defender and not foul or make too many mistakes then he can get minutes next season

This kid fuckin rules. I love him.

I can’t completely place it but the way Walsh’s body moves is different and cool. Like his joints have all been upgraded to something more elastic than what comes standard and he’s still working to optimize his new powers.

The best thing about him tonight was that he wasn’t playing to “get his” like you’d expect from every guy who is making an appearance after mostly getting G-League minutes. The kid knows that his path to the rotation and minutes is by playing smart, composed, team basketball. He went out there and made the right plays.

Thanks to BRISSY!! That was 100% an unselfish play that he made with Walsh in mind. He was cheering so hard for Walshy when the ball went in 🥹
More of that and less Svi hogging the ball.

Can you imagine if he got that ally oop? The garden would have exploded.

There are some young guys who you watch and can just tell. Walsh may never been an All-Star or maybe not even a starter but he’ll be a really legit role player in the future, at least.
I felt similarly about Aaron Nesmith when he started up. The kid couldn’t hit a three to save his life and sometimes played out of control but you saw the hustle and determination.
Walsh has it too. He wants it. I hope we get to see some more minutes here and there in the regular season if we can get some more blowouts.

I’ve watched this so many times and it just keeps getting better.
