Okay you said you came here to get finchy in the All-Star game go home what’s it feel like to get that done 80% of my day is done now I get to go enjoy the rest of the 20% um just happy happy that we get to uh experience that moment

Being able to be a player of his for his first head coaching job and now he gets to go to the All-Star Game and Coach is it’s a pretty uh huge jump for when he walked into his doors with he is he is one of the more underrated coaches or

Under the radar coaches I should say uh what do you think this experience will be like for for him just kind of being in the spotlight that way I don’t think he’s going to like it yeah so that’s being honest uh I I think we’re going to

We’re going to make him enjoy it though uh that’s what me and aun are going to be there to do is to uh help him understand the moment uh kind of an Essence like a first time Allstar so uh just uh try to do everything we possibly can to make

Him uh realize that uh moments like this are very rare um and you know he should enjoy it to the fullest no matter what the situations play out to be a and Rudy were saying that um you a lot of Team communication in the film session

Yesterday of just trying to kind of work things out what did from your perspective needed to be accomplished in that meeting and and how did you guys come out just reestablishing who we were I think re um taking any miscommunications that we have on defense and offense out and and just you

Know sitting there as a family and having those tough discussions so I think we did a really good job with that I was really proud of everybody from the coaches to the players um everyone participated everyone made their voice heard and everyone uh Let each other

Know what they need from each other and from everyone then I think it showed tonight with kind of the the way we play tonight um you know I don’t think we played our best offense but the defense I think it reminded a lot of us of who

We were at the beginning of the year and uh how great we could be is uh you moving and kind of embracing a new position a good example of how much you kind of trust PCH like that you’ve taken that on as an example of kind of the

Relationship that you have with it uh you know it’s it’s it’s it’s a combination of these guys as well I think that a lot of credit has to go to them you know trust is built uh you know obviously with the coaching staff and everything uh but I’ve had years with

You know last year I didn’t really get a year with these guys so um just having that trust build built last year when I was on the sidelines and translating onto the court um and also as a testament to these guys trusting me trusting me to do my job at a high level

And trusting that when we on defense I’ll be at the spots I need to be and if I’m not hold me accountable as well so these guys make me better and uh you know I I’m thankful for that what’s the balance between you know when ants having a third quarter like that still

Like wanting to give him his space to go do that but also be able to kind of be there if he doesn’t have it or you know if he goes cold for a couple shots like when he’s cooking like what are you thinking uh just be ready in case you

Know he he gets a double team or you know loses dribble and stuff so just be ready to be aggressive but uh in that aggression you know understanding the hot hand um I think that’s what’s special about this room we got a lot of talent it’s not going to be every night

Where I’m going to go for 62 you know it has some nice is going to be low numbers but it’s because these guys in this locker room are so talented they could take over the game um my third quarter approach really was be aggressive like I said playmaking uh and scoring as the

Ball was to come to me but if it wasn’t more than okay with you know just trusting ant getting him the ball in space and places where he could succeed and being there for offensive rebounds and if not just be the best defender I could be and uh continue to get stops
