Jamal really impressive Nights from Christian and pton tonight Off the Bench just um as they’ve continued to grow we we’ve asked you about their growth continuously over the course of the first 50 games or so just what did they give you in moments like tonight where the starters just weren’t clicking

Initially and then they bring energy Off the Bench um yeah I mean they come in and do what uh they need to be do uh done you know um play defense bring energy rebound um I think they did at a high level um shooting the shots they supposed to

Shoot so know they played a complete Game both of them and uh you know they both still trying to figure it out so I was good to see them have the type of games that they had what’s the biggest difference for you when Aaron Gordon’s at the center

Nicole is off the court and you go to those lineups what’s the biggest difference uh Uh I’m just playing basketball I mean I don’t know what you’re looking for what you looking for what is the like what is that lineup what is the personality of it what things are do you play any way differently does that lineup play differently it’s been

Effective a lot in the last month when you’ve gone to it no man just uh you know try to score more than the other team and try to defend better than the other team as well so no matter who’s on the court could be all rookies out there

Be better you know we got to come on the first quarter and play like that or or at least have stin you know um so it was nice to see us uh round the game off and and and end the quarter and start the fourth like that but you know I think we

Got to we got to bring that energy from the get-go and not have to rely on to experience every single game to to go on a run and and win the game you know what I’m saying so I think we have a lot of improvement um just as a

Unit and you know it was good to see that you know we picked it up crowd was going it was a lot of fun um but I think we can do that for the whole game was there anything was there anything tangibly different uh just your shooting Night from from Friday to

Sunday or was this is just like shots not going in yeah I mean I saw you were talking talking about me so so I had to make sure you know it doesn’t matter if I do everything else and shoot B so I just try to come out and make

Sure I look for everybody and um play with energy and um get the job done today what were you seeing from a Distributing standpoint these last two games you end up in double digit assist for both of them did I M um I think just trying to get it I mean

They’ve gone to I mean same team right so they they they went Zone um majority last game and then um yeah I think I was just trying to get everybody in the right spot more today than last game um and then that forced them to change their defense and

Then from there they’re a little they’re a little uh disc bated on what they wanted to do I could tell um but yeah I’m just playing my game not being named an Allstar does that serve as any sort of motivation yeah of course but I mean know there’s

Multiple players in the league that should be Allstars you know what I’m saying I think Fox was an allar um there’s somebody else very Trey wasn’t an Allstar you know what I’m saying so I don’t what do you want me to do now I think I think you guys have seen me play

At a pretty high level against those same guys who are Allstars so I just go out there and uh try to I I’ll take it to heart obviously you know but is what it is M you talked about bringing that energy from the beginning of the game

That you guys had there relying on that um not having to rely on that so much have you found though that during this season your um opponents are bringing an extra level of intensity and effort because you guys are the reigning Champions yeah for sure um and that’s what that’s what’s uh

Expected but I think we like you know how many games are we in 54 so I feel like by this time I know everybody’s tired and the whole league is tired but we got to find a way to um I know last game we missed a ton of open shots so

It’s it’s kind of tough to say we need to play better when we’re just missing open ones but I think on the defense end we can just do a lot better at communicating throughout the game um from start to finish um you know what I’m saying we go through walk through

Every day we go through the guys plays every day I think we should just be a little bit more on point to start the game and not have to not have to kick it into another gear uh as we realized that it’s a tie game going into the fourth or

Whatever it was you know what I’m saying so I think we just got to have be a little bit more uh conscious a little more aware of uh the task at hand each and every night that we’re going to get their best shot you know I think we can

Give we can give our best shot as well from the start like you said to finishing a pre-all-star break p of the Season really strong just like having that Focus all the way up until the end just not getting um excited um I think I think that’s the biggest

Finish a strong and not let all the work that we’ve done up until this Point uh kind of slip away so um yeah just bring in the energy man I think that’s the biggest thing bring energy each game no matter the result we’re going to miss
