don’t need any trades
JK is phenomenal in the 2nd option/iso role. I love that everyone is accepting that he’s the 2nd option now, the team is adjusting to his strengths
Podz is crazy skilled. When he develops a midrange, his play and status will make a tremendous leap
2 days to go and almost Zero teade deadline buzz across the league. The only thing you hear is Chicago has to make moves for the sake of their money situation and being stick in 34 win a year purgatory.
As long as klay and loon can get it going when the playoffs come I’m not worried, we just need the young guys to get us there.
Loon’s been playing a lot better lately
It’s nice to see, hope he can keep up anchoring the rebounding/defense off the bench
I’ve been thinking about Klay since his locker room interview…which was honestly a painful watch. I don’t think it’s ego, or pride, or any of the other shit people throw at him.
Klay’s dad was hypercritical when he was coming up. Not implying he was a bad dad by any stretch, but sometimes, when parents use criticism to “bring out the best” in their kids (my mum is just the same), you grow into an adult that is inwardly hypercritical. You become a perfectionist, and judge yourself more harshly than any outside noise could ever compare.
Looking at him last night, and all the other nights he’s spaced out on the bench…it’s clear he’s battling a very heavy sense of shame, disappointment and feelings of failure. It’s almost impossible to grin and smile in the moment, he’s trying, but it’s just impossible to do so in the moment.
I wish we’d collectively cut him some slack.
Philly into Indy road b2b is kind of rough, I kinda wish it was the other way around. Dray looked really tired during the second game of the b2b last time (the Hawks game) but Myles Turner is like the type of player Looney matches up the worst against so idk if we can afford to give Draymond a breather. Maybe Kerr will play TJD? (lol) Maybe we’ll actually have another center from the trade deadline?? (lolx2)
