I was trying to find out if there was any footage of Fisher playing basketball out there when I stumbled upon this article

What a story, man. Guy came back from literal paralysis and made his dreams come true by just showing up to the MLB league meetings to see if anyone was hiring. Definitely have some new respect for him after reading that.
I always thought he was a decent play-by-play anyways, I don’t get the hate for him

I absolutely love Fish, he is a great partner to Cage
Great stuff and yeah I love the job he does each game

Ugh, a Jenni Carlson article. No, thank you.
But if we must, count how many one sentence paragraphs she uses.
I remember that article. There was one game where I saw a cane and I didn’t know whose it was. Read it and realized it could have been his.
Chris Fisher is **the** definition of “it’s sunny outside” as the Thunder is 1/2 in the standing and nobody got an issue. My biggest issue was that he had zero flavor to him. This season? He went from a person who cooks without salt to a person who sprinkles the Mrs Dash on food. He doesn’t need to be loud and brash – he just needs to show his personality, and I truly feel like Michael Cage has WILLED it out of him. He’s super tolerable now.
I think if the Thunder was still losing there may not be much to laugh about and he would still be bland as fuck.
Listening to both of Fisher and Cage always feels like being with your uncles on a Sunday bbq.
Chris Fisher is really solid as our play-by-play guy, and balances my Lord and Savior Michael Cage so well. We’re lucky to have them on our team.
