Is it nice to get a practice in I know with all the travel you don’t get as many as you’d like yeah I feel like it’s been it’s been a couple weeks since we’ve had one so just be able to get get a little bump um kind of work on things
That we need to work on was big um and we get two days to do that so uh just got to just got to um I guess just chish those we don’t get them a lot nowadays but um it’s good how do you think you did in your first
Start uh feel like for me it was just to come out just play loose have energy um get us get us off to a good start I think um we did that we had a 12-point lead in the first first quarter that’s something that we definitely have been
Working on is just being a better just get out to better starts and um I was glad I was able to start and be able to help is there anything from the game personally that you looked back on wish you would have done differently shoot first quarter I wish I would have dunked
On jic that first time instead of dump it down but other than that no I try to play without um any I wish I did this wish I did that but um for me yeah uh that was basically it if I had to choose some but you’re going to make mistakes
Throughout the game so just trying to minimize those why didn’t you uh a second guess I don’t know I thought he was going to come and block me and would have had da but probably should have thrown it up or just dunked it coach says about you that you
Understand the assignment you play the right way what does that mean to you yeah uh it means a lot especially coming from him um that’s something I try to do every single day is just play play the right way play basketball the right way
And um just do what he tells me to do um I don’t want to be someone that coaches got to ask to do some two or three times and it should only take once or none at all so what was your nervous nervousness level in that game starting were were
You pretty cool or were you um I don’t know I was pretty just even killed um I mean it’s not often your first starts against the defending Champion so just being able to um have that opportunity was amazing and uh for me it was just it
Was just fun just be be on the court and uh playing against them and play in that environment so your first trade deadline situation is coming up you’re not rumored in any trades but you never know have you thought about it at all like this is coming up this is a real thing
This is the business of the sport yeah I mean the sports it’s a business um in any way it’s uh you got relationships everywhere and um even if you get tra I feel like you’re have relationship where you got traded from so uh for me my
First trade line I’m just going with uh just just I guess just no nothing to expect um but uh we had a big trade early in the year so I kind of got a little bit of Glimpse but um obviously I follow uh the trade down line in the
Past especially when I was younger uh just cuz that’s like one of the most exciting days especially in the NBA year um but yeah uh just no expectations for me
