Road trip here because of the Grammys and they improved to 26 and5 since November 30th the what you got question hottest team in the league Who’s hotter Tas melis is it the Cavs or the Clips what you got I’m giving it to the clips that’s a tough road trip going Miami

Then Atlanta back to back those are two cities you could have a good time in but this is also a back toback Kawai Paul George playing till the last second of this game the question before the season are these guys going to play back Tob

Backs to go all the way to the end there and for kawhai to step up in that fourth quarter he looks like an evolved player from when he was in finals MVP in 2019 that side step three he didn’t have that in the back but now he gathers and is

Able to create room like a lot of NBA players do but he didn’t do that he was always just a straight on three fireballer uh now he has added that 145 left in this game to be able to do that and uh uh that was that was a key three

Obviously 13 in this fourth quarter it was a lot of points that they put up against this Atlanta Hawks team um but the Hawks did keep fighting Trey young and Jaylen Johnson couldn’t communicate there on uh one switch that they should have had that hurt uh but the fact is

I’m just so interested to see the Clippers against like a big team the Hawks aren’t all that huge I can’t wait to see them in the playoffs but the fact is they’re doing it against every single team against the Nuggets it might line up just the top four teams top four

Teams in the west are within half a game of each other that’s freaking Bonkers uh so I can’t wait can’t wait for this offseason Cavs are also good yeah 14 15 that’s why it’s a tough question but you’re going with the clips what about you Trey well I’ll show some love to the

Cavs because since January 1st they do have the best record in the league Clipper second best Cavs though have won their games in 2024 by 15 points per game that’s pretty impressive margin of Victory couple of things I’ve been tracking with the Cavs since Moy and Garland come back number one how many

Three-point attempts they get up 41 last night playing against the Kings great stuff they’re 14 and five when they shoot more than 40 just makes more sense that’s how you play in 2024 also the minutes distribution between Allen and Moy Mitchell and Garland Allan and Moy played minutes together to start both

Halves and then stagger mode every other time Mitchell and Garland six minutes together to start each half then stagger mode but they got an extra little taste in the fourth quarter played another three minutes together right now Mitchell and Allen is really still the lineup for them alongside three Shooters

And a coro’s actually been shooting the ball really well and playing his defense out there but I thought they looked pretty solid when they had all four of them out there and then when they had both stagger groups set up but the key is getting up the three-point attempts

Because it keeps the space there for Donovan Mitchell and this guyy just been been incredible since they have hit on this shooting based lineup That was the entire point of every move they made over the offseason was to get more spacing on the court they’ve got a lot

Of options now heading down the stretch run here going to be going into the playoffs we’ll see how it turns out but last year they had four guys and we’re just hoping anybody could take the fifth spot right now they’ve got four guys and like four options at the fifth spot so

I’m impressed with the Cavaliers but yes the Clippers are better that’s fair okay so the Cavs have moved up into second spot in the Eastern Conference 32 and 16 you said the Clippers half game back from the number one spot uh trailing Thunder and uh Minnesota there are if we

Were doing your tier rankings which we’re actually do for maybe we’ll do it sort of uh maybe right after the All-Star break or something like that where we look at all 30 teams and we put them are they an S tier team you know that’s a a championship Contender or are

They just below that or wherever are you putting tasks both of these squads if we were to do this tomorrow or again next week would you be putting the Clippers and the Cavs into the S tier legit title contenders along with a couple other teams like I assume the nuggets and

Maybe the Celtics or are they still not quite there in your opinion it’s a fun question I would put the Clippers in there immediately I think they they have to be it’s a lot to overcome in the Western Conference because everybody’s damn good but we just haven’t seen this

Ingram from but Anthony Davis once again showed up in Big Time moments uh for a win here for the Lakers they are been scrapping together some wins on this Grammy trip here and also a quick shout out for probably our third strongest performance of this or in this m matchup

A back-to-back 30 point games for Brandon Miller he was really good uh in this one as well he hit 28 in his game prior to that one three straight games with five or more threes love when he got the steel and the dunk in the fourth quarter seemed like the tide was turning

For the Hornets and Eric Collins just yelled out ecstasy that was awesome he’s been incredible right now it’s fun like should be feeling ecstasy after that draft they they picked him over scoot uh and people were wondering what the heck are we doing but yeah not only that dunk

But then almost the Fade Into the Baseline the real Julius Randall Kevin Durant type shot that he made that guy just looks like a star yeah U recently and they did this without lamelo ball so that’s why the Anthony was like but Brandon Miller was awesome yeah uh back

To bi just a weird stat apparently he was the first player in NBA history to score at least 40 points make at least eight threes shoot 75% and have zero turnovers in a game in history um just an odd little fact there when you look at all those numbers but really
