I’ve been thinking about this for last week or so but didn’t want to get ahead of myself. It’s very possible at this point. Our record is 20-2 vs teams under .500 which 5 of these teams are.

I’d expect to go 1-1 on one of the back to backs. Possibly both, just playing the odds with resting players, but it would still get us in a great spot to hit that Phil Jackson threshold. The 76ers could rest maxey on that first game if his ankle is problematic, maybe both games if we are lucky. 76ers could end up picking and choosing their games to compete in at this point bc it would take a Herculean effort for them to wind up top 3 end of year imo. May end up saving maxey for any other games that they have better odds winning and just take their licks on other games like the Cavs, Knicks, etc.

This has been on my mind all morning. The 3 B2Bs coming up in the next 12 make it tough and there’s a lot of travel in there, but 40-before-20 is a good goal per Phil Jackson’s quick look analysis.

I say coinflip at this point because we’ve been on a historic tear, but going 8-4 over the next 12 seems very do-able.

We definitely have a real shot at it. You look at the schedule and it’s a bunch of on paper wins. Just a matter of continuing to execute.
