[Sidery] Atlanta’s best return package for Murray might only include a good young player or expiring contract alongside one first-round pick. Atlanta is mulling over whether these types of returns even make sense to trade Murray before the deadline.

Seems like the Lakers won the leverage war due to no other serious suitors emerging. I guess the best option is to keep him now.

  2. Keep him for the second half of the season.

Magic and others will likely go point guard shopping in the offseason.

  3. At this point it’s better to wait until the off-season when teams are looking to really shake up their rosters instead of selling for the sake of selling.

There should be no “mulling” over this decision.

Let’s keep him if we can’t upgrade the team by moving him.

Why trade him? He’s a good player. No one is denying that. He’s ultimately not the problem on the team nor is he some bad locker room guy we want gone.

Keep him and either develop our forwards like JJ or trade him for a pair of picks and decent guy at the 2/3

Mulling over if they want to take bad value? Huh?

  8. They’re trying us because our FO has an inexperienced rep.  Hold onto him and show them that we need to be negotiated with seriously or no deal.

DON’T TRADE HIM, YOU IDIOTS AT THE F.O.!

Quinn’s playbook is massive, it takes time to get it going. We are just now starting to scratch the surface of it. Trading Dejounte for literally anyone would not improve this team in any way. At least on short term.

  10. Nets got offered two firsts for Dorian Finney Smith but we can’t get that for a very good starting point gaurd.Wild

It doesn’t get any easier in the offseason. New league rules dictate that you have to be under the tax by the start of the first game next year. So teams will already know that the hawks are looking to get under that. I don’t see a much better package happening then.

Nobody gives a fuck what that nerd Woj has to say

  13. Never should have put him up at all for a trade. You could get that package or better for Bogi. He’s not even the problem. Its Hunter and Capela that’s the issue and OO’s lack of rebounding.

If you get a player that can take care of the best offensive player on the other team then DJM can take on the 2nd best player and leave the 3rd to Trae. That will work. So in the offseason, you get Jonas Valanciunas who’s taller, more stout and smarter and Bruce Brown Jr. and its a wrap. Trade Hunter and Capela for Expiring contracts and some picks and AJ for Okoro.

It would be better to wait for the offseason where you can get a better deal

  15. Whilst we deffo shouldn’t trade DJM for scraps I think the people expecting there to be better offers in the offseason will be very disappointed, I just don’t think his value around the league is that high…not to mention he’ll also have a trade kicker once that new contract kicks in
