I don’t think this happens until summer because Mitchell may want to leave. Mitchell and Young could be the two huge trades this summer with the Lakers trying to get one of them to keep LeBron another season.
However if Mitchell commits then I think they would move him since Mitchell is playing the PG/SG hybrid so well.
Edit: the good thing about waiting for summer to address our PG needs is that Trae or Garland would be huge and we can go after Jones as a backup if they don’t work.

It makes absolutely zero sense. Mitchell is not gonna extend in Cleveland even if they win the championship. No way the cavs give up garland for any package given this reality. We should instead be weighing up an offer for Mitchell this summer when he inevitably turns down their extension offer.
