[Reiter] Sources tell @CBSsports that a complicating factor on whether or not the Lakers acquire an impact player in the next 24 hours is the belief within the organization they could have a chance to acquire Donovan Mitchell this summer. Knicks also could be in play.

LOL hope Koby keeps the “over my dead body,” energy going

They *could*, yes, that’s what free agency means. Currently it seems more feasible that we retain our best player and sign theirs rather than the other way around, but I suppose anything is possible.

Cavs being 14-1 over the last 15 is a disaster for the Media, cuz they have to talk about us now. Seems like a good time to drum up some trade rumors.

  4. Literally every other team that’s been mentioned had a better package lol

Lot of people burying their heads in the sand in here. It can both be great that the Cavs are kicking ass and Mitchell is playing incredible, and likely that they have to deal him this summer. Just because we don’t like it doesn’t make it less true.

I’d be willing to cut off our own nose to spite the Lakers and trade Donovan anywhere else even if they gave us the best offer which they can’t even offer.

Bottom line, if the Cavs keep winning & Altman and Gilbert continue to do everything they can to field a contender, there’s very good chance Mitchell re-signs. I do believe the Cavs & Dan Gilbert will do everything in their power to field the best team possible, can’t say that about a lot of other owners

Why would the Knicks want the ball out of Jalen Brunsons hands. I feel like Donovan doesn’t’ fit as well there as he does in Cleveland. I’m not even considering LA LOL.

Time for Dan Gilbert to get a message to the commish office again that this bullshit tampering through the media is going to get people fucked up.

  11. The Cavs helping the Lakers keep LeBron in Los Angeles? No way ….

It’s more likely to see Lebron return to his hometown, where everyone loves him, and join a 50-win team, spending the last two years of his career fighting for the championship.
