Anthony Davis on his Defense: “I’m so special defensively that it f*cks teams up…”

Also speaks on how the “coaches” need to trust him more in scheming defensively… in case y’all forgot AD is that guy.

Legit was a great podcast. It shows who AD really is. He’s a solid dude.

The fact that AD hasn’t won a DPOY yet is a travesty.

The defensive master class AD put up last year was all time great levels. The dude was a one man defensive scheme. This man will cover both players in the pick and roll and still be able to recover to block/deter the weak side player.

One of the most under appreciated players because of the 2 way burden he’s had affecting his offense at times. But he’s improved even more with his passing and his offense is more than consistent now. Might’ve had an MVP and/or DPOY if this team was a top seed.

Damn shame Lakers front office is wasting his prime

Ever since the nick young incident I knew our boy would be a great journalist

Aka telling Ham to stop with his sag off shooters to “help” AD in the paint scheme.

I love this interview. Never knew AD is cool as fuck, bro needs to do a media tour

Why are guards and taurean Prince dropping down to help ad in the paint against drives? AD destroys that shit. But it’s an easy pass out when guards drop and a couple easy passes leads to a wide open 3. When AD is out of the game I can understand cause paint defense is dogshit.

People keep talking about how the Pelicans fleeced us in the trade, when in reality we got a 26 year old superstar in AD and have already won a chip with him. And we’re equally if not better positioned to compete with him signing a long term deal with us! How exactly did New Orleans win the trade then?

Guy blatantly called out Darvin Ham this whole video. Might as well have said his name 🤣

I hope he can play 65 games this year to show the basketball world his greatness. It looks like Adam Silver is serious about getting the stars to play every gane

Too bad you didn’t f*ck up that center from Denver……… lol

Damn this was a straight shot at Darvin

Anthony Davis is the greatest defensive player I have ever seen and I’m not sure it’s even close

I trust in AD 100%. He’s been doing his job and deserves DPOY. I could make the argument that he deserves MVP convo, but our record reflects out shortcomings that it over shadow’s his capabilities.

Sounds like they were low-key criticizing Ham’s schemes. AD also touched on wanting to play bigger. He din’t say it directly but he was insinuating that Rui needs to be in the starting lineup.

He’s 1000% right, and his defensive IQ/instincts/ability are generational. It’s a shame that we aren’t fully taking advantage of that and keep overhelping with our guards and conceding open 3’s.
