Jaden Ivey led the Pistons with a career-high 37 points, along with 6 rebounds and 7 assists as Jalen Duren (20 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists) and Alex Burks (25 points, 7 rebounds) totaled 45 points. Domantas Sabonis led the Kings with his 33rd consecutive double double as he compiled 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists as Malik Monk added 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 assists.
The Pistons move to 7-43 as the Kings fall to 29-21.
Jalen Duren totaled the sixth 20-point, 15-rebound game of his career. He now has the most 20pt-15reb games for a player 20 years of age or younger in Detroit franchise history, passing Andre Drummond (5 games).

As someone who likes the kings, this was an very embarrassing loss for them. How can you lose to a team? Tries their hardest to lose games. Every single time they have big leads, and you let them chew almost perfectly from 3 and not to mention this was HOME court it was the same thing with the hornets game a couple two months back. You can’t be losing to these terrible teams on Homecourt that you should be beating easily. Kings to stop being inconsistent and get the moved together. Or they might be another first round, exit like they were last year.
Close loss for the Kings but honestly, I feel like this is one of their better games of the year. I know they lost but the ball movement was good tonight and guys were getting good shots.
