Didn’t the Jazz offer Otto a contract, but he picked the Warriors a few years ago (he did win the championship, so good decision for him). Now he plays in Utah, unless he gets traded again

The worst of their picks apparently, so a very late 1st (Clips or OKC). Honestly kinda underwhelmed, I think Ochai still has enough upside that it’s not worth moving him for that.

I will miss watching Ochai surprise literally everyone who dared try to drive him to the rim. It’s a very rare guard skill to be able to block shots at the rim while retreating defensively, and his chase downs were insane. I am excited for him to get more opportunity, hopefully.
But man he really was not consistent offensively. I’m still worried we gave up too soon, but I’m guessing we’ll just take another bite at a guard in the draft this year.

I really wanted Abaji to be part of out future bit he never really took the next step imo. I’m glad Hendricks is gonna get an opportunity

Sad to see Olynyk but especially Ochai go… thought he was not necessarily part of the “core” going forward but still a significant piece for our future. As part of the Donovan trade he also wasn’t an Ainge/Zanik pick either. All good though, we did get what will likely be a late 1st round pick.
