Not surprising. They were never going to get 2 first round picks for him right now. He’s on a good contract and doesn’t mind being in DC. I still expect no major moves from our front office.

Kuzma has played hard and has been a positive leader within the team. You can tell he is trying. Nothing but respect and appreciation for Kuz in a garbage season

Kuzma has done what many other guys wouldn’t have done. Embraced the team and city, and continue to play hard. It would be extremely easy for him to give up (like JP) given our performance and lack of relevance.
Yet, he works hard, tries his best in games, and continues to lead the team and uplift others. Dawkins and co have also done a masterclass in the contract structure, where a year-to-year decreasing cap-hit becomes exponentially more attractive to contenders.
I’m sure Kyle will more seriously want to play for a contender, but when that comes, he’ll come with a a pretty price-tag. For now though, he’ll continue to be a leader and a great role model for guys like Bilal, Deni and Corey.
Shoutout Kuz

What a fucking joke.

Sounds good. Dude is fun to watch, loves the city, and can be a good veteran influence for his teammates. After dropping the ball with Beal we have to maximize our assets and Kuz is our best bargaining chip right now.
If we can’t get a good offer for Tyus, expect the front office to resign him on a nice deal similar to Kuz. We can feature these guys and cash out next year.
I would like to trade one or two fringe rotation guys like Delon and Shamet. Free up a handful of minutes at the very least.
