Good for him, what a competitor! Glad he was with us for a time!

  2. __spartacus

We knew this was bound to happen. Same will happen with Moody if let go

  3. Wassup_-_

He was good with us too, coudnt keep him due to salary but will alweys wish the best for him.And if he was still here Podz may not have gotten as many minutes

Lol that’s great. You want to trade Kuminga for him lol.

I liked Donte a lot but just go look at his playoff logs if you miss him too much lol

Why? There was no way the Warriors were re-signing him anyway, given how well he played last year and the contract he was sure to get as a result. They knew from the moment he signed the contract that if he played well, he would decline the player option in favor of a larger deal elsewhere. Get yours, Donte!

We all believed in him; I’m glad now that he’s getting payed and on an concerning team alongside the rising juggernaut that is Jalen Brunson; if I wasn’t a warriors fan I’d be a Knicks fan. Love the way they play ball

There was no way DDV stayed anyways. Glad he’s doing well, the Kings did him dirty by burying him in the depth chart, he got redemption with us, and he’s back on track with NY where he can get both exposure and money.

  9. We could not have possibly paid him what he’s making. We should feel really good about him. He was bouncing around the league playing for barely above the vet min and not welcomed back by a Sac team that, at the time, was basically the Detroit Pistons.

He came here and rehabbed his value. Good for DDV.

  10. He deserved to get his bag. it’s always nice to see someone do well after leaving the warriors.

He has more opportunity there and has way better chemistry with the Villanova Knicks. Not too upset at this

Loved when Donte was here but we couldn’t have kept him.

  13. We all wanted him to stay, but couldn’t afford him 😩

  14. Happy for Donte. He was a real hustler for us and deserves his shine, but we’ll be good. We finally have a young guy that is playing like an All-star and doesn’t back down. Which is a major win after the Wiseman and Poole debacle.

The team’s cooking at the right time, even when Klay been going through it. We might not win the title this year but we can make some noise and spoil it for someone unexpected (looking at you Clippers). Moving forward the team will be ok.

They’re missing all of their starters and half their bench. Someone has to score. But DDV is not gonna be a 30 ppg player on any team going anywhere.

  16. flstudiobeatmaker101

yea he’s good but he wasn’t able to do this because we also had 2 other high volume scorers (poole and steph) so he wouldn’t get as many shots up

Happy for his success – love the Knicks and their scrappy re-assent. And love that so many college (Villanova) friends are on the team together – Dario is best friends and former roommates with Jalen B. I just want us to beat the best.

It’s that boost an Italian American guy gets from playing in New York.

Worked out for both sides. Glad he’s doing well back home with his buddies. He played well for us and was a good teammate, no complaints.

The Knicks are read hot and he has played a role
