Momentarily sad about Dinwiddie, then I see this and I’m all the way hyped again!

Upside of not getting dinwiddie, we can go after Kuz and Herb/Caruso combo in the offseason, now that would be deadly if we manage to pull of something like that

So saw Gafford’s highlinght video that Panda Hank put out and heard one of the commentator call him The Landlord and that’s a pretty damn sweet nickname for him lol.

  10. I’m hyped to see this game with our new guys against one of the top teams in the league. If we can win this one we’ve got a very good chance of going into the all-star break with a 6 game winning streak (since our next two are at home against terrible teams)

Given that our coach doesn’t really do any set plays, I can see why.

One cool thing about Daniel Gafford (and it’s been this way since Arkansas) is he is 100% absolutely clear about what his role is and what he is elite at. He is all about the rim…dunking things into it, blocking shit by it, rebounding balls off of it.

He has no delusions about becoming the next Joel Embiid, but is on that Kawhi Leonard “board-man-gets-paid”-energy, and it’s exactly what the Mavs needed.

Couldn’t have asked for a better addition to this team, in terms of both team fit (in terms of style) and complimenting Lively & his development.

Really the only thing he’ll need to work on is making quick passes in the short roll. He’s never really played with anyone with the gravity that Luka has so that’s probably a new thing for him and something Lively has been doing extremely well (especially for a rookie).

Also seems like a funny and cool dude in general so the vibes should be good.
