The Clippers defeat the Pistons, 112-106. Paul George scored 15 of his game-high 33 points in the fourth quarter as Kawhi Leonard (24 points, four rebounds, five assists) and James Harden (14 points, six rebounds, eight assists) totaled 38 points. The Pistons had a strong effort as Jaden Ivey (23 points), Cade Cunningham (22 points, 10 assists, six rebounds) and Jalen Duren (10 points, 18 rebounds) totaled 55 points while newcomer Simone Fontecchio added 20 points and nine rebounds. The Clippers have now won 10 of their last 12 and moved to 35-16 on year and 20-5 at home. They became the third team in the WC to reach 20 home wins (OKC, DEN) and fifth team overall (BOS, MIL). Detroit moves to 8-44.

Seems like the Pistons have turned a corner. Didn’t make it easy for the Clippers. And they’ve been playing better in recent games. Good to see.
