Damn, this is going to hurt. Despite Dyson’s weaknesses, he’s an amazing defender and hustle player. They will definitely miss his presence. Naji also becomes much more valuable now and glad he didn’t get shipped off for a 2nd round pick.

Damn, he’s been playing very well on D.

This is also why I’m glad we didn’t make any moves at the deadline.

Just awful news. These tears appear to be happening more and more in younger players. Trey was 22 and it happened during a workout. Dyson is just 20.

Tough loss on the defensive end of the floor.

Damn, what is the timeline on that time of injury, could he potentially be back by April for the playoffs?

This is just sad (obviously). I get frustrated with Dyson on the offensive side of the ball but I really wanted to see if he could develop and make real strides on that end. Obviously we know he’s a great defensive player and can have some productive minutes especially against 2nd units. Also seems like a really cool dude. Hope he recovers soon.

    Fuck man
. Idc what you say abt his offense, opposing teams hate seeing this man check into the game and call him a pest for a reason. He is a disruption to opposing offenses and can really slow down a teams sets and force them into late shot clocks with his deflections. Insane on ball too, just keeps dudes in his chest and doesn’t let them flail for a foul.

At this point in the season, I hope the location allows him to go for repair instead of removal. While he technically could be back by playoffs if he opts for removal, if repair is feasible he should go that route for long term stability/rehab instead of increased risk of arthritis and shortened career

Well we got the depth so it won’t hurt too bad. Wish nothing but the best for the kid

  11. This is giving me deja vu of Kira. It felt like Dyson was just starting to figure things out offensively when this happened. He was already having issues being aggressive, I hope this doesn’t completely kill his want to attack the basket.

I feel bad for Dyson. I like him. I think his passing skills are underrated.
