Time but that evaporated and the Nuggets fall two games in a row blowout losses we’re going to talk about this one but we’re really going to talk about now that there is this trend should we be concerned to help me with all of that brenon vote man what a killer night in

The bar tonight oh my God unbelievable Vibe and you know the best part is the way the Nuggets just carried it through the whole way you know they didn’t show up tonight the bar crowd the bar crowd or the Nuggets or the Nuggets uh we’re

Everybody and he’s like wow I you you see how much it means to people it really is Monday after the Super Bowl everybody’s a little like the Monday after a big weekend is always a little tougher a little more of a SLO everybody goes through their 8 Hour grind of work

Maybe more and you’re like but at least when I get home I’ll kick my feet up and I’ll watch my favorite team play and then this happens someone should someone should say yoke a tape of fan reactions after they lose by 30 just so you know

All right bench stin let’s see how they do Murray had awful turnovers nuggets immediately fall down 12 then my note says 22 to three Bucks Run Casey P went out of the game did not return Murray Porter Gordon kcp combined IND you guys in the first half for seven

Points so dis in a half of basketball the starters not named jic combined for seven points they shot two of 18 from the field and the Nuggets were down 60 to 44 but in the third quarter it got way worse worse immediately it was went from like all right down 16 it’s

Probably over but you should still watch to see what happens to like 3 minutes in you were like they don’t have it tonight and they get steamrolled all right Dev that was the recap we don’t have to go through all the other little bit actually I will have one other note Brax

Key and Colin gpie the two two-way players not contract guys played the garbage time minutes in the fourth played all played all the garbage time Hunter Tyson jayen picket the two fully rostered guys did not play all right Dev what do you got this game made no sense it really made no sense

And really Denver did not play well but also the bugs really did bring it they played harder they um Giannis did everything in that game he was hitting jump shots like there was nothing that Denver could have done it would have been great for them to show up anybody

But yish to show up um but that was a game that they really just got dominated from start to finish and you don’t want to see those type of um efforts but they kind of are to be expected they were down pretty much two starters um in this

Game Jamal went down um no one else you know accompanied uh joic in this game and those are the type of performances you’re going to get when people don’t step up so you just want other people to step up with yic yeah to say nobody stepped up is like a total

Understatement man this was an all time not stepping up performance from every literally every player not named Yol what’s your big takeaway uh it’s disheartening a game like this is very disheartening they uh you know um that maybe the humanid elements of like why they didn’t show up tonight uh Murray is

Injured um other guys coming off of injury kcp mpj it’s just I I you know nights like tonight it’s just you just have to crumple it up and throw it in the garbage can except for that we you got to live through it I mean it is it’s

The funny thing about you know everybody has a bad day at work but um you know like I feel like if I knew that the the just like thousands and thousands of people millions of people literally are their day were affected by my work performance like I feel I mean I feel

Like I would design harder you know what I mean like I it it’s like you just feel like at a certain point nights like tonight they’re just they don’t care and they just kind of lose sight of what this is right you hate I hate nights

Like this I hate them there two in a row um they’re doing the thing that bad teams do which is like they drop games going into the All-Star break yeah um I hate it like they’ve had two opportunities to seize first place in the west and they’ve dropped them both

Spectacularly uh not even competed so you know it it I don’t think that this in fact I know this doesn’t reflect on their outome or just their outlook for the season as a whole but it just stuff like this sucks it just it’s it’s gross

And I don’t I hate it yeah I mean strong agree on everything yeah I wish they would play with more Pride right now that’s my big takeaways Pride’s the word and one too many blowouts for me and I don’t know like you were just getting at

We talk about the routine he goes through tries to do things always the same so that he can be consistent and he is honor and duty honor and Duty 29 12 and8 from him tonight like those are numbers that are pretty comparable to what you would expect for a big matchup

The fact that he was alone in it to the degree that he was tonight is just I I agree with you that there’s like a pride a maturity um you know those things that are just kind of lacking from the Nuggets here and let’s be honest man

They’re kind of breaking down as they head to the allstar break kyp now with an injury Jamal Murray M come soon enough um like these guys are banged up but I mean so is everybody else you know like all these guys are going through something you know in the NBA and it it

Um so yeah that’s discouraging um from the team and also it just it makes you just wonder how frustrated yoke is at times because this takes you back to the old days when he had to do all of it and they’re not healthy but this is this was

Their starting lineup tonight right you wanted them play harder and Jamal Murray look he left the game but he did play 18 minutes before that and had three points three points and then you roll out that same lineup the Reggie Murray lineup that’s where the really lost control of

The rope and in that stretch it was just turnovers you know turnovers bad shots like not running offense get wasting the clock and then handing the grenade to somebody it was like horribly run and look if he was hurt and gritted through it you know I you appreciate that but at

The same time man three points in 18 minutes from your second best player it’s crazy like I met mpj had a rough night tonight too kcp obviously goes down like nobody played well but I just look at Murray and I go we joke about this roller coaster with Marie and it’s

Just it’s exhausting it is exhausting I I would feel differently if he didn’t go out for injury I mean you know so maybe he just injured the whole time he you know it sounds like he his tibia was his the muscle on the front of his leg was

Bothering him you know he didn’t have lift on his shots you can kind of I mean but he you know he just looked Gass the whole time he looked like the anytime Murray has a bad game he looks tired from the jump and he looked tired from

The jump legs legs man and then kcp like it he was clear tonight we’re kind of like oh man hamstring injury he clearly was not ready to play that’s my second big takeaway that’s my second big takeway the night I cannot believe kcp played in this game Who cleared him he

Looked he looked clearly unready to go and and then he pulls up a little lame like early in the game and you’re like okay he’s not finishing this game and with the All-Star break so close and a hamstring like a hamstring issue what did he look amazing at in shoot around

Like what happened so obviously it’s easy from here like people whatever they they they tried he probably thought he was good to go but with with 2020 hindsight very clearly he was not ready to go and I wish he had rested tonight yeah that one’s very confusing because I

Mean who do you you blame in this type of situation the medical team who cleared him or him that says I’m ready to go because I mean Denver has shown with Jamal he took way more time than he was supposed to in his injury cuz he’s

Like I don’t feel like myself like if they want to take the time they can I’m sure that he wanted to compete but there was nothing to prove in this one um Denver’s you know in a good spot out west they didn’t not need him in that

Game so you just really pushed it for no reason um and then just to go back to another Point what this team is missing or like what you really think about is like Jeff Green in this type of situation like a vocal leader that’s going to call guys out um after a couple

Of bad games in a row I wonder if they have something like a conversation after tonight they play horribly two straight games does somebody call a meeting does someone talk about you know you guys are not giving effort we’re not playing hard um we’re just kind of giving up do does

Denver have that right now maybe I I mean it’s probably like DeAndre Jordan that would be the guess which is not a great like State of Affairs um this is where you want your two best players to be not only the leaders on the court but the leaders off the court

Uh we don’t we don’t know the Dynamics I don’t know it just doesn’t feel like that right now like the Nuggets just feel like kind of lost at this exact moment it it’s this is a lot of like in the moment stuff I mean obviously like obviously like they were they’re half a

Game at of first place as tonight started um it feels like at this exact moment like they’re just spiraling and like there’s no hope in sight but if you recall that was the whole second half of the season last year since um Eric since we’re not going to do a call-in from the

Disagree with yeah the poor CL I feel terrible for clown man he gets no respect Dev I mean let’s take this question sincerely even if the answer is no are there things that you’re looking at that you’re at least just taking note of of like hey man I don’t like this I

Mean yes yes and no I think it goes both ways I do think that it’s the regular season it’s under rooll it’s against a really good team um like you’re going to have some let down spots even last game was a second night of backtack against

Like the fastest Pace you know team in the NBA so like you have some excuses built in um but the issue is you have some excuses built in um you just want them to be a bit more hungry you want them to get back to those days of um

Wanting to prove themselves you’re the defending Champion so like so every night you should be trying to defend yourself and and prove that you are the best team in the League or um you know teams are not going to be able to beat you or you’re not going to go on these

Streaks of bad games in a row so I think that that’s the biggest thing for me is um not that the hunger is lost but it it just doesn’t seem to be the same um you’re not in a spot of proven and I think that Denver should be yeah uh

Here’s the thing is that the Denver Nuggets have a perfect ecosystem that is their starting lineup and without those five players intact they’re in big trouble and that’s true of every every team that has a strength that is riing upon certain players if they lose you

Know if you lose like Jamal was not Jamal tonight and last game they didn’t have mpj they didn’t have kcp didn’t have kcp really tonight didn’t I mean they just didn’t H they’re not they’re injured like they’re not to their level of uh capability at this exact moment it

[ __ ] sucks it’s terrible to watch it feels like an excuse but it’s the truth like they’re diminished and so they suck that’s just kind of how it goes like the Denver Nuggets are as good as that starting five is and if there is if that

Armor has a dent in it um I won’t use the C uh [ __ ] armor I wish I didn’t have to say it um uh then there’s a problem sounds like it’s s the just the right word the correct thing correct word just makes me sound like the monster that I

Am um but that’s a problem like if they’re not good then they suck that’s just their bench is not good enough to hold up and fill in for the starting unit if the Denver Nuggets enter into the playoffs with this level of Health for their starting unit they will get bounced immediately

Yeah they need to get healthy the lucky thing for them is that the All-Star break is here none of them are good enough to be Allstars so so we have that working for us hell yeah com upet for right now that’s actually a great Point uh one of

My bigger concerns right now that I still feel good about but I just want to see it you know what I mean I want to see it is just the elite three-point shooting from mpj and kcp because I do still believe the Nuggets halfcourt offense with their starting five is

Elite or can be or should be in transition they’ve been bad this year the bench has been horrendous so on the whole offensively they’ve been underwhelming as a team the starting five has been pretty pretty good one of the reasons you feel great about the starting five is cuz they have two of

The best floor spacers out there and it has felt like it’s been a minute since between the two of them it was like okay this is two lights out if they’re in the corner and they’re open it’s going in I think it we’ll see it again I think

They’ll hit enough of the big shots when it matters but we haven’t seen a ton of it lately and I think that would be one of those things that helps us feel like oh that’s the Nuggets dominating that’s the Nuggets making it look easy and there are there are easy points being

Left on the board right now um from two shooters that I think can can confidently and capably hit those shots yeah I think I probably fall closest to what dline said in that the Nuggets you’re right about the perfect ecosystem and they are unlike most teams they are

The most dependent on their guy so you take one piece out not every team is like oh you’re down one starter are you completely doomed Denver still isn’t especially if they have Murray and yish but if Murray is down or not playing well then of course it changes things

Quite a bit but I do think that the Nuggets don’t have great depth this year and when you take away a starter or two not only do you not have your starting lineup that fits so perfectly but then all a sudden your bench lineups everything kind of gets rotated in

You’re playing guys like Justin holiday Colin Gillespie played who wasn’t just playing garbage time minutes and he actually played in the third quarter when they were still trying to come back oh that was garbage time well I mean it was gar time but I mean they hadn’t

Thrown in the towel they still had starters on the court um and so I do think there is something to their lack of depth is sort of is catching up to them y you know a little bit and I’ll say this you look at the minute totals

For some of the starters over the last handful of games they have pressed they have gone to the 35 38 40 minutes in games that they’ve wanted to make a statement you know they’ve wanted to like hey let’s go out there and grab this one we’re going to play AG at

Center this or that and I do think that that lack of depth is starting to catch up to him so that would be one of my concerns is the Nuggets do find themselves in a playoff hunt right now where it’s very possible that they finish the four seed and only have one

Homecourt round you know advantage in in one round and so they kind of need to press but at the same time does that mean they’re going to end up having a lot of games with 36 37 38 minutes from their key guys I I’m a little worried

That that is going to become a real Balancing Act for Malone in the final 30 games of the year yeah it’s tough but they’re I mean listen there’s so much time left and they’re right there and this they just need a break they just need break yeah I mean that I mean

That’s a positive thing like like d just said they’re right there and there’s a lot of time left and also when you look at that schedule after the All-Star break they have like the easiest schedule in basketball so it’s really just about staying healthy um picking up

Those wins um and just getting some type of consistency um that’s what you want to you know see um the bench unit that’s the a huge concern like that’s something to be worried about it’s been that all year um but you just want them to find some type of consistency because they do

Lack the depth so just having something to rely on and I feel like they have not had that and that’s like their you know the the issue um with this team so they have to find something there yeah um the any other concerns here I mean I like

Your point about Michael Porter shooting I would like to see him kind of Shake It Off too to be honest maning him off right now just cuz he’s been hurt and he has other responsibilities too right he’s like chasing D screens and Mike’s not doing

That but my point is that it is the two of them right like last year those two guys in the corners forget about it and this year in the corner there’s a chance they’re missing that shot and again this is like a smaller I think that this will

Stabilize but I do think it’s part of what makes it feel like the Nuggets haven’t been at like touching their ceiling lately is I just think there are easy points that last year they they gobbled up that they’re leaving out there right now well I’ll tell you those

Guys to me like shooter shoot they’re still shooting well and right you know whatever I’ll tell you the one though that I actually this is a real concern it’s not from this game or even the last two it’s a concern from this entire year and that’s Aaron Gordon’s confidence on

His shot he is not making him and he is passing up and like tonight was a night where you get to have Giannis on him play the low man and just kind of muck things up and there were multiple times especially early in the game where he

Catches the ball out the perim and he’s like yeah I’m not shooting this cuz I you know and I do worry about that because I thought that one of the humps that they got over as a team last year was Aaron Gordon’s willingness and ability to make those I’m a little

Concerned cuz again there’s time I I’m he could have gone on a hot streak in January and then lost it in February March but I do hope that after the All-Star break we see a consistent not him taking a ton of Threes but just the confidence and the ability to beat that

Defense yeah I mean it was this game was he knocked down down too so like it it didn’t punish them in that way it did it does stand out just because um they lost and they was down by so much but Giannis really did say we’re going to just pack

The pain if you make it you make it and I think a lot of teams are going to look at that and they’re going to try that at times so he is going to have to shoot him even if he’s not making them just to like put pressure um on the opposing

Team um you want that confidence to be back and also maybe get a mid-range so like take a step in and knock that down um cuz you are going to have to be a weapon offensively you are going to have to be a weapon spacing the floor um and

This was a game that you you saw them elect to go with that option you’re going to see it a lot more yeah dine we might not be totally concerned about the Nuggets just yet be concerned about yourself uh in what way having to watch the

Nuggets uh uh yes I mean honestly they play Sacramento on Wednesday now right they bounce back and have another game like are you now officially dreading that game or are you like excited for that game it’s at home after last game I did not think about the Denver Nuggets

Until today and I was like okay you know like I was like man that game was awful you I’m going to take a little like mental Solace here give myself a little time away from the Denver Nuggets come back and then they delivered this hay maker which was this was even worse than
